Okay but here’s the thing: can we talk about demons and their horns.
Sure, they look badass, but they’re often overlooked beyond that. But think about it.
Baby demons born with tiny bumps under the skin where their horns will eventually grow. Young demons with their horns just now coming in properly, fussing and rubbing their heads on every available hard surface because they itch, and purring with contentment with a parent or older sibling massages the horn bumps to ease some of the discomfort. Numbing creams for especially sensitive demon kiddos, and having to relearn how to style their hair once they finally break through the skin, after years of not having them in the way.
Teenage demons (especially the boys, but girls too) proud of the size of their horns and showing them off at every opportunity, polishing and waxing and filing away little nicks. There’s rumors about them, of course (you know what they say about guys with big horns, tee hee), and tomboyish girls frustrated that their horns never got very big (but they’ll fight anyone who makes fun of them for it) or feminine girls embarrassed that they inherited dad’s massive, looping ram horns when they just wanted little, delicate ones(but they’ll learn to accept it, eventually). Demons with particularly dry horns who oil them regularly to keep them from flaking, or who pick obsessively at the flaky spots even though they know they shouldn’t.
Increasingly silly horn fashion that adult demons don’t even bother to try and understand, because you know how teenagers are: a whole generation’s-worth of demon kids were obsessed with gluing fake jewels to their horns, and another time intricate, criss-crossing patterns of string and ribbon was in-style. There’s an array of colorful horn polishes to be found, in gloss and glitter (and even velvety matte–that’s a new trend).
Demons don’t use their horns to spar like most animals, of course–they have other ways to fight that work better for their bodies–but that doesn’t stop the younger ones from slamming their horns together during wrestling matches like sheep, at least until the hormones settle. Gentle, playful headbutts taking the place of a friendly punch to the shoulder.
Adult demons dedicating as much time to the maintenance of their horns as the teenagers do, but in a more mature way: they’ve replaced the exaggerated, experimental stylings teenagers favor with jewelry, often more subtle, but sometimes bold. Demons who sharpen the tips of their horns for fashion, or have holes carefully drilled into them so they can be fitted with jewelry (horn piercings are in style now, you know! just be careful not to get the core). Horn technicians who specialize in intricate designs done in polish, to complement the demon’s own colors and natural horn shape. Some of them even use dyes, tinting their horns a different color or giving them a different sheen if they were too dark to change color much.
A broken horn being devastating and painful. It’ll never grow back, after all, not like antlers, and in a way it’s almost as bad as losing a limb: suddenly you’re unbalanced, and you feel like everyone is staring, and you know you’re not as pretty as you used to be. Eventually it will heal over, the sharp edges will be filed down, and it will be normal–but never the same.
HORNS.

Choeung Ek is a memorial, marked by a Buddhist stupa. The stupa has acrylic glass sides and is filled with more than 5,000 human skulls, depicting the gender, method of death, and even noticeable torture methods. The building is 17 tiers, The bottom layer shows clothing the victims were found in, followed by most layers being skulls, and the following laters being remaining bones, organized by type. Many bodies have been left in the mass graves as a sign of respect.
The Cambodian genocide was carried out by the Khmer Rouge regime under the leadership of Pol Pot, killing approximately 1.5 to 3 million Cambodian people from 1975 to 1979. The Khmer Rouge wanted to turn the country into a socialist agrarian republic, founded on the policies of Marxism–Leninism and Maoism. In 1976, the Khmer Rouge changed the name of the country to Democratic Kampuchea. In order to fulfill their goals, the Khmer Rouge emptied the cities and forced Cambodians to relocate to labor camps in the countryside, where mass executions, forced labor, physical abuse, malnutrition, torture, and disease were prevalent. This resulted in the death of approximately 25 percent of Cambodia’s total population.
The Khmer Rouge regime frequently arrested and often executed anyone suspected of connections with the former Cambodian government or foreign governments, as well as professionals, intellectuals, the Buddhist monkhood, and ethnic minorities. Ethnic Vietnamese, ethnic Thai, ethnic Chinese, ethnic Cham, Cambodian Christians, European, and other minorities were also targeted. The Khmer Rouge forcibly relocated minority groups and banned the use of minority languages, all religion, art, and the like. By decree, the Khmer Rouge banned the existence of more than 20 minority groups, which constituted 15% of the country’s population.

1. The first thing that you notice is the stillness, the quiet- right before sunrise, right as dusk begins to fall. After the muted hum of the city, the pulse of electricity, the silence is unsettling.
2. After not eating for three days, you’ll find out what the inside of a rabbit looks like. You’ll throw up bile on the side of the road after you gut the animal, you’ll cry yourself to sleep with a full stomach.
3. You learn how to tell the difference between approaching footsteps and bushes being rustled by the wind the hard way. That same night, you are in your first firefight, you kill your first person. You stare into your campfire four hours later wondering if dracs even are people. The new blaster wound on your arm will be your first scar.
4. You feel like grime and sweat and dust have been ground into your skin, you don’t know if you’ll ever be clean again. You consider the morality of killing for a shower.
5. You get a car. You drive all night, just because you can, burning up more gas than you can afford. You don’t care, it’s impossible to care when you’re going 110mph down desolate two lane.
6. You bury someone that you love. Maybe, if the soil is too rocky, you burn them. Maybe there’s no time for any of that, you’ve gotta get out of you’ll be ghosted too, and you come back that night to find that their body is gone. It doesn’t feel real. You cry, and the little voice in the back of your head whispers that you’re wasting water.

Los autos locos en el estilo de Mad Max: Fury Road. Arte: Mark Sexton (vía Imgur).
Mark Sexton (co-writer and storyboard artist of Mad Max: Fury Road) was asked to re-imagine cars from Wacky Races, Fury Road style. Turned out pretty well!
When I saw a photo of Preytorians and received a brief blurb about their vibe, here’s what I expected: 480p resolution YouTube videos of dudes cosplaying in Ren-faire attire rapping pretty decently over early 2000’s-style beats at a convention.
… Preytorians? I’d never heard of them before last week. The indie hip-hop trio includes Kielen King, Demond Clark, and Sean Wynn. King and Wynn, having both hailed from Portland, had worked together previously before all collaborating online with Chi-town’s Desmond Clark via social media.
These dudes are talented individually, but together they form a powerhouse, which brings us to their debut album: Warmusic: Past and Future. I listen to a fresh album in bits and pieces before I go in to digest the whole thing, which helps me determine whether I dig the sound, or if I’d rather call it quits than commit to what could be up to an hour of listening to an album straight through.
I only needed a good couple of seconds before I decided I wanted the album in its entirety. The album title, Warmusic, is in itself a great description of the work; Past Wars throws rap bars over music you could picture in a war movie. Preytorians describes themselves as “vanguards of truth,” and on this album, they use the turbulent emotions of wartime to inspire listeners rather than to invoke terror or pain.
My favorite element of this album is the uniqueness of its’ sound; it’s broken up into two parts, each completely different in style. Past Wars gives you a more epic, battle soundtrack vibes while Future Wars gives you modern electronic sounds and cool beats.
Their music can be found everywhere from iTunes , Google Play, to Amazon, Spotify and Bandcamp. Be sure to check out their website and of course, follow them on Twitter and Facebook!

Damn, this is some pretty good stuff.
Hey past week I've been searching for something but haven't found it. It was an animated music video of 3 guys and it was kinda like a rock band ?? Idk but I remember the drummer had long hair and there was a weird machine they fought and lava everywhere and in the end it changed to the actual people getting ready for a performance. Does that ring a bell to you? It was really popular cuz the animation was fantastic but I still can't find it
That was Freak of the Week!
Traditionally animated by Juanjo Guarnido and a team of animators. You can read about it at Cartoon Brew and also check out the making of video:

Reblogging because wow. What a resource.
Here man have some footage of Russian Navy overkilling Somali Pirates: >humorous version: watch?v=uTYkcnJdDio >non-retard version: watch?v=4XJ0nblZjZE ### I'm posting this mostly of the comment in the first I copy-pasted: Youtube comment: "The difference between Russian navy and US navy: Russia don't give a fuck if Captain Phillips is on board."
100mm naval guns
30mm gatling CIWS guns
40mm RPG-7 rocket launches
14.5mm heavy machine guns
7.62 AKM assault rifles
Seriously, I’m wholeheartedly convinced that the concept of “overkill” doesn’t exist in the russian language!
