Or rather, holding hands and having your joined hands inside his pocket because according to him, the both of you would be warmer that way. The weather was still cold but the sun began to shine through the grey clouds, melting some of the snow and leaving green patches of grass and some flowers to be visible. 

“Are you cold?” he asked, scanning you with a concerned gaze and unconsciously walking faster, wanting to reach home a little bit earlier.

You shook your head no and smiled at him, successfully melting his heart and making him smile as well. How could you be ever cold with so much warmth in your heart?

There she was, waiting by her bike and looking around slightly nervously. She looked stunning, as beautiful as the first time I met her.

“Marie?” I asked softly as to not scare her, walking up to her. She turned to face me, her cheeks slightly flushed.

“Hui!” She exclaimed, smiling widely. She looked at me for a split second and then run her hand through my hair. “You dyed it red! It looks amazing!”

I nodded; “you once told me you were curious to see how it would look on me. So I thought I would do something about it for the holidays.”
