Im editing this YA novel for my job and I keep seeing really weird spelling errors like "Greak" instead of "Greek" and "freek" instead of "freak" and i asked the author if this was a creative choice because its so consistent and he insisted that was how those words were spelled and I said what? No. Thats not true. And he said yes it is. In the world of the novel. And im like uh. Okay that qualifies as being a creative choice so you could have just said yes. And he said that its his last book anyways I could basically do whatever I wanted with it and he'd probably just push it out to publishing anyways. So im like okay let's see what we can put in here..
