Akito and Kohane Trust Rank Title 2 : Hammie & Feigned Innocence

this joke got totally lost in translation lol, for context the original title in jp is ハムハムと猫被り (hamuhamu to nekokaburi), essentially meaning hamham & nekokaburi.

the literal translation of nekokaburi is "to put on a cat" which, obviously, did not translate well. it is a japanese equivalent to the phrase "wolf in sheep's clothing", essentially.

the term stems from feral street cats tricking you with their cuteness. to "put on a cat" is to put on an innocent face when you're actually not quite so pleasant lol

so hamham/hammie isn't just random, because in this context they are comparing akito to a cat and kohane to a hamster! while the meaning of the word was conveyed, the joke of it got lost lol

Family Ties

Four years after the battle on the moon, Lord Death the Kidd feels things are finally settling in place for him when he starts to see a familiar pair of red eyes where he shouldn't. These sights turn into odd dreams and even odder whispers. Matters are certainly made worse when a witch interested in the moon's surface also makes her move. Are these dreams just the makings of a nervous new god or the sooner-than-expected return of an even greater evil?
