One of the things I love most about Andrew Garfield is that he doesn’t seem to have an inch of snobness, and inch of superiority complex as an actor
What I mean is, I hate actors and directors who publicly look down on genres of movie/tv/plays etc. its one thing to not personally like, for example, the superhero genre of movies but it’s another to act like you are above it. And as an actor why would u ever feel above a certain type of role? He doesn’t have any of that. This guy is talent as fuck, Oscar nominee and he can’t end his career without at least bagging one, but he still welcomes all genres and doesn’t look down on them
Another thing is that, as Spider-Man, he was AWFULLY mistreated. This man got bashed by the fandom and screwed by the studio. Compared to hell and back to the og, the studio made such poor decisions that they didn’t even finish his franchise, his movies are considered the worst spiderman movies by the majority, and yet, the moment they asked him to comeback as Spider-Man he doesn’t seem to have to even think twice about it.
Going back to all the interviews he had to lie about being back, he looks genuinely happy. Heck, the moment he takes off his mask in the movie I can feel a sort of "IM BACK" energy I can’t explain it. He loves the character so much that he doesn’t care about bad blood.
I wanna know so bad his reaction to the fans reactions. I know he had to be kept a secret but please marvel, tell me that this man when to the premiere of the movie even if thought a back door wearing a mask and sunglasses. Please someone interview him, I wanna know what he has to say. I wanna see his giant smile while he talks about being back. Please Andrew REVEAL YOURSELF ON TWITTER 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I know he’s just scrolling there smiling wide as he sees all the tweets
Andrew, I love you 😭 if it weren’t for the amazing Spider-Man movies i wouldn’t be a marvel fan. They were a really huge part of my 9th grade and I still can’t believe you’re back
