INTERESTS

i like a lot (and i mean a lot) of stuff, so expect my blog to be a mess of all sorts of things i enjoy.  movies, books, shows, video games. the like. but mostly, it will be focused on my current obsessions, which would include:

2. one of palermo’s most defining traits in the show is his willingness to love berlin unrequitedly, and while there’s an air of “pathetic-ness” in it to some people’s eyes, it’s not inherently bad or demeaning in itself. he loves for the sake of love: “i am here for the love of a man and an idea” — and it’s beautiful?? why is it always interpreted as negative?? hello

3. where has anyone in this accursed fandom ever said “martín is lucky to have a man like andrés falling for him” when 1) the love wasn’t requited like it should have been in the first place, and 2) how do you look at the miserable mess that was palermo in part 3 and think: wow, lucky (????)

4. idk why i even have to explain that this “interview” is more like a conversation between friends and pedro is obviously trying to pay rodrigo a compliment as in: “oh wow they’re gonna make THEE rodrigo de la serna play a character that’s in love with mine” as opposed to him making a character analysis??? also immediately after this convo, rodri literally refers to his character as “more pathetic” than pedro’s… so?? is that not part of the analysis here are we cherry picking now

5. you’re free too interpret the show whatever you want yaddi yaddi but if you’re going to be grasping at straws at least don’t comment it on the posts other creators make. because i assure you they dont wanna see it. thank you.

My Dad committed suicide on January 13, 2013. He suffered from depression for 10 years, and I was lucky to have him around as long as I did. In his honor I got the last thing he wrote to me on my bicep in his handwriting in blue ink, his favorite color. I’ll miss him forever, and now I’ll have a reminder that he loves me every time I look in the mirror.

i think the childhood mythology of “it’s okay to share food when you’re family because you all have the same spit” is so beautiful actually like love is about eating each other’s leftovers it is about my parents eating the heads off the shrimp in my plate because they know i don’t like the idea of eating eyes and it’s about asking your friends to “waterfall” you when you’re running the mile at P.E. but if they like you enough they won’t yell ew if your mouth touches the bottle and it’s about my sister taking a bite of a cookie, making a face, and handing it to me
