#Hashtags help you target your specific niche or interest and provide real-time tracking on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. For example: “I like coffee in my cream and sugar.” #quote Using the #hashtag symbol in front of the keyword, ‘quote’ will help my post be seen by anyone searching for the hashtag #quote. Just be careful not to use more than 2-3 hashtags or you might be considered a spammer to your followers.
Your website is your greatest asset. More people view your webpages than anything else.
Increasing Importance of a Mobile Website
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Google has now officially introduced a new ranking factor. We’re using smartphones and tablets more frequently to search the web and the same applies to the Google search. Later this week, we'll talk more in-depth about this change.
You'll never influence the world by trying to be like it
Website security is not just for online sites anymore. This year Google has stepped up their game to make the internet a safer environment for everyone. With all the fake websites created daily it's hard to not be tricked by a fake eBay or Amazon site.
Here's why Social Networking For Business Marketing is NOT for you. part 5 -You still don’t know how to use basic social sites. If you don’t have a LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter profile for you and your business then you need to go online and start researching, today. Then you need to just start participating. "I don't feel comfortable giving out personal information about myself". You control the amount of information that you share. If you don't tell the world about your beanie-baby doll collection, we'll never know.
Here's why Social Networking For Business Marketing is NOT for you. part 4 -You can’t spare the time. There are few shortcuts to the time involved in doing Social marketing. If you can’t devote yourself to the time and effort consistently then it just won’t work for you. Someone somehow must spend the time to do it or hire someone to spend the time to do it.....hint, hint
Here's why Social Networking For Business Marketing is NOT for you. part 3 -Your writing skills are really terrible. Social Media Marketing requires current and interesting content. You either need to research and write about your field regularly or hire someone to do it for you. If you can’t or will not do it, then just forget about the social arena.
Google will use mobile-friendliness as a ranking factor in searches. This change may impact your website's placement in search results, as announced on their blog.
Here's why Social Networking For Business Marketing is NOT for you. part 2 -You have an out of date website and/or it looks like my 10 yr old nephew designed it. It’s not a newborn baby so just admit it if it’s ugly and give it a facelift. Using Social Media to drive traffic to it is a waste of time, in fact it’s a negative. Social Media should come last. First focus on a good business plan and create a website to reflect that with good products. Then work in creating a marketing plan.
Here's why Social Networking For Business Marketing is NOT for you: You still think there is little value in social media. Are you sure about that?! There are currently over a million groups on Linkedin, over 835 million users worldwide on Facebook, millions of companies are on Twitter and Google is now using Google+ to help rank your website traffic, they couldn't all be wrong.
Creating A Easy To Remember Secure Password
Use sophisticated passwords. It's easy to create them and remember them. Also, using the same password for all your accounts is a no-no. You will never “get to it eventually” if you don't do it today.
Hint for security - making each one different and memorable.
Step 1: Use the first 4 letters of the website address you are at. Step 2: Add a symbol like $. Step 3: Add a number combination you can remember with a capital letter such as 2B43 (because 2 is before 3) Step 4: Add 2 more symbols if more letters are required like &* Step 5: Add the Spacebar in the middle of your password (some sites will not allow you to do this)
Now Facebook.com login is amaz$2B43&*
The only thing that changes between different sites is the first 4 letters. Choose your variation and phase everything over.
It is a nightmare to fix things when hackers get it. BELIEVE ME!
Most web-surfers use email for work or personal use. This also makes it one of the easiest ways to contact someone and lure him or her with a scam. The most common emails scams include those about winning lotteries or an inheritance from unknown relatives. Emails like these from people you don’t know should be red flags. Then there are emails with attachments that can install spyware or viruses when you open the attachment. The simple way to be safe against email fraud is to never download attachments nor send your personal information to unsolicited emails.
Fake Websites/Apps
You could be scammed by visiting fake websites or installing fake smartphone/tablet apps. Most of the time, it’s bank websites that get copied — they may even look exactly like the original and will ask you for your login ID and password. If you supply them with this information, the thieves will use your credentials to access your account. The easiest way to detect a fake bank website is to see the browser address bar. Check that the website address has ‘https:’ before the name. This means that the site uses a secure certificate (all bank websites use this). In terms of apps, check for the developer name (usually written below the app name in the app store) and read reviews on any banking app in detail before installing these apps. Only download banking apps from the official app stores.
Ads that Are too Good to be True If you see a product available at a price which is way below the regular asking price, I can almost guarantee that is some sort of scam. You can get discounts online, but when something is listed as 80 or 90% off the retail price, it’s a red flag.
