Uhh, ngl, I have never run a writing fandom blog, so I'm still finding my footing and learning what's working and what is not. I want to build up writing stamina because I am relatively new to writing fanfiction outside of an rp setting, so hopefully with time I will improve. Constructive critique and discussion of material I wrote is welcomed but also, don't be annoying about communicating it.

I'm pretty open minded and multiship, so I don't abide by the idea that characters can only be in ONE ship and be in one dynamic. Things to keep in mind for requests and the inbox:

Just so things don't get awkward later-- yes I am proship in the sense that I don't give a shit what you ship in fiction so long as you arent harming real people, just follow fandom etiquette and tag your things so people have the choice to avoid it if they please.

By default, every character with no explicitly stated sexuality will be portrayed as whatever the fuck I feel like at the moment but more often than not, some flavor of bisexual. Sometimes I will want to write them as cis, sometimes trans. Until I am given limits by canon, these are dolls I'm playing with in an infinite sandbox.

As for reblogs, I will make a concerted effort to reblog the things I enjoy instead of letting them rot in my likes. I will tag what I remember to, so that it's a lot easier to filter what you don't want to see.

Idk if I should make it a reader insert or have the physician be an actual person. (I have never written reader insert so I'm not sure what good etiquette would be. But fuck it, we ball)

NGL, I'm boring in the fact that I can see him being shipped in an interesting way with all of the of the "younger" Overwatch ensemble in one way or another if someone makes a good case for them. I'm talking with Lucio, Venture, D.Va, Juno, Kiriko, Mizuki, Illari, Hazard etc. so I'll point out some age gap ships people might be sleeping on:

Lifeweaver/Wuyang: Niran is an internationally wanted badass that has contributed priceless knowledge to the world of medical technology and botany. Wuyang knows he should be more weary about him because he could be as dangerous as the Viskar bounties say he is, but face-to-face he's super charming, a free spirit, and pretty to boot. He's very worldly and clever and the intrigue around him probably sucks Wuyang in because he's an inquisitive dude by nature. Niran swears he's an open book but Wuyang sees him as this rubix cube he wants to figure out and inspect every step of the way. Also, Healing water + Healing (light)plants = cool imagery.

Genji/Wuyang: Wuyang probably flips his shit because WAOW an actual Overwatch member that was there in the thick of it back in the day. And in meeting Genji in person, he learns that Genji's super down to earth, is an amazing martial artist and -- as Hanzo pointed out-- pretty understanding of Wuyang as a whole being the younger sibling brimming with whimsy and living under the shadow of a huge legacy. So it probably starts as one-sided admiration and a mentor/mentee kind of thing to pay it forward and Wuyang presses it to make it known that he's got a puppydog crush.

Junkerqueen/Wuyang (And lowkey Domina/Wuyang): I will be transparent when I way these two were initially purely because size diff makes me bark and also I know they would bully the fuck out of him if they had to be around each other for any significant amount of time in-lore. If Wuyang doesn't see Vishkar as the opportunistic mega-leech of a corporation we know it is, he probably addresses her respectfully and when Domina sees him in motion she compliments the fluidity of his motion, noting that he would have been an exemplary architech and offhandedly offering him to join their academy because he's talented. The compliments interspersed with her commanding demeanor gets Wuyang ready to eat out of her palms and the thing that would snap him out of it is witnessing Vaira doing/facilitating something that is unambiguously fucked up to helpless people.

Now, I'm biased and have a deep fondness for Lifeweaver so of course I'll draft how i think that interaction would go, but damn there's just something so scrumptious about ALL of the interactions and the way you laid them out💭

Charming open book meets an energetic easygoing young guy‚ who‚ specifically knows how to Scrutinize and is driven by the desire to Figure Him Out- rubiks cube is perfect‚ I'm gonna chew on that for sure💭

But then!! That mentor/mentee dynamic between Wuyang and Genji that could focus not just on their character parallels but their differences as well‚ hmmm💭

Genji isn’t just the way that he is because he came to it naturally, he had a teacher that could guide him into finding the sense of peace that he was always capable of, and the confidence that stems from that is definitely what makes him someone that Wuyang looks up to- so rather then focusing on the dynamic of what they see in each other, like Niran and him, I think the intrigue stems from their actions‚ and the opportunities that they'll be presented to Give and to Take

(and if that happens to include me self indulgently imagining Genji pinning Wuyang down during a sparring session and good-naturedly teasing him about how he lacks patience in his technique while Wuyang begins to flush, retorting that he was more than capable of going slow before abruptly cutting himself off at the accidental euphemism and beginning to blush more hotly when Genji still hasn’t gotten off of him and instead leans down to chuckle into the curve of his neck\

Also, you do NOT have to lowkey Domina‚ she is LARGE‚ she is in CHARGE‚ and she will ask if anyone's going to awaken Wuyang's urge to wear a collar and not wait for an answer because my gosh is that man the biggest puppy to ever exist. I don't even think that she'd wait for Wuyang to answer, just drifting over to him with an air of purpose, tilting his head up while he stammers in confusion but still allowing himself to be guided by her touch, while she slips a simple and luxurious white leather collar around his neck. She'll raise one sleek eyebrow while he fiddles with the single jewel hanging from the center and ask him if he plans to take it off before she gives him permission to.

The switch that immediately flips in his brain ats her words echoes in his mind has his knees turning weak, guaranteed, and those same words are what have him mindlessly shaking his head before he thinks too hard about it. She'll nods her approval, and say, "Good boy."

🔞Vaguely horny and angsty Widowmaker headcanons under the cut.

Widowmaker, in her current state, has an odd rellatioship with sex and autonomy. For one, the intensity of her drive to experience either is directly dependent on the current strength of her neural conditioning.

Her libido is virtually non-existant during the first few weeks following the quarterly loading dose of medication and incubation vat treatment. Blood perfusion throughout the body is severely restricted and systems not essential to staying alive and performing vital tasks have their priority reduced to what will keep the organs alive. Putting them in a pseudo topor of sorts. During this time, Widowmaker does not ovulate, or menstruate. Even in the event that she engages sexually with another person for one reason or another (none of it out if genuine desire at that point) she does not self lubricate, nor does she experience any physical hallmarks of arousal.

During this time, she does not like being touched unnesssarily. Her immediate reaction is often times one of disgust and/or violence. (Sombra knows the reality of thos very well and had learned to bob and weave correctly when she surprises Widow with a playful ghosting of fingertips specifically to annoy her.)

All of these things only begin to wane toward the end of the quarter when she is due for her next treatment. Her average resting pulse slowly begins to tick upward from a paltry 40, as does her internal body temperature from 68°F over the course of a few weeks. Her hands begin to shake without warning when handling her rifle.

She starts ruminating again.

The accompanying emotions fade in, white-hot and throbbing then back out like an infected wound. Sometimes it's anger, sometimes it's guilt, sometimes it's not. Sometimes its profound loneliness or nostalgia that culminates in a knee drawn to her chest and three fingers curling desperately inside her cunt with memories of Gerard rasping admiration against her skin playing on repeat in her head.

She never mentions this part to Moira and the battery of Talon scientists that pick and prod at every inch of flesh to keep her in pristine order like a freakish prized racehorse. Nor does she mention how the meds begin to ease up a bit earlier and earlier, allowing more of Amélie to claw to the surface a little longer each quarter.

It's excruciating each time, sure, but in the way that she knows she is instigating a purge that will inevitably bring up poison before she can start feeling better.

Reread What You Left Behind and these two are 10000% ex-boyfriends. There is no heterosexual/platonic explanation for the energy between them. Literally Baptiste can't stop himself from complimentary descriptions of Mauga even as he talks about the anxiety and barbs of fear he triggers in his gut. Describing being around this man just like relapsing 😩 Mauga trusts him as if he never left, even as Baptiste is pointing a rifle at him and speaks VERY highly of him to other people that doubt him even when Baptiste hasn't been present for years because he's so confident in how much he knows the man, knows he hasn't changed significantly, and in how he can convince him to come back home. Almost like a 'I know him better than he knows himself' kind of deal. It's SUPER toxic and I love it.

I think I want to write a little something about the two of them back in Talon. How Baptiste never takes the outcome of a mission well and Mauga always softens that scalding edge just enough to keep him from leaving, but it still tears him up on the inside after the celebratory drinks and being ridden within an inch of his life before having to return to HQ. Lowkey Baptiste probably kept doing it for as long as he did because of a self-perpetuating loop of self harm.
