it’s hard being in the iwtv fandom when you’re not particularly crazy for loustat and also you don’t really care for devils minion and also your favourite character is armand

#i like loustat but i also know they are the endgame couple so i dont feel the urge to read fanfiction because i just need to watch the show #is what i mean #i love armand so i pretty much like any ship revolving around him but the way people write dm fics is just not it for me #really i just love any ship that can be used as a vehicle to explore armand #couldn’t really care about the other person in the ship lmao #like i will read loumand lesmand gabrimand marimand dm occasionally biancamand riccardiomand #i’m not picky lmao #my favourite armand ship is loumand though #people on twitter are uppity and weird towards armand stans #i don’t know how to explain it but i really don’t give a shit that he orchestrated the trial #like yes it sucks but like that’s his role in the story #but people treat it like a grave moral failing if you like armand or if you talk about him in a positive way #especially when you are his actor and musing on his mindset and rational #which is something all actors have to do to get in character #it’s totally okay to stan lestat who dropped louis from the sky but god forbid you understand why armand made the choices he did in s2 #also the fandom is very selective about what counts as rape #especially when they try to apply things that only happened in the book to what we have seen so far in the show #and it’s funny which character’s actions of non consensual blood drinking are considered rape and whose aren’t #also i’m scared for season 3 #i hope it’s good
