The lyrics ‘It’s been a lifelong sofa ride’ taken from ‘Mercy Day for Mr Vengeance’ by A Wilhelm Scream, is presumed to be a reference to ‘Lifelong Sofa Ride’ by Canadian Skate-punkers, Belvedere.
‘We got two Jealous Again’s’ by NOFX, was written frontman Fat Mike, commenting on the merging of his and his now ex-wife, Erin’s record collection. ‘Jealous Again’ being a single by Black Flag. The song also mentions singles by Misfits, Minor Threat, Killing Joke, Bad Religion and many others.
‘Sadie’ by Alkaline Trio, was written about Sadie Mae Glutz, a Manson family member and murderer of actress Sharon Tate.
