///I am alive, after lurking for so long. Curse you, ADHD! Okay, but seriously, I need to explain myself and it’s gonna be a little hard.
The main reason I haven’t been active. Unfortunately, like many others, I was swept up in the trend of artificial intelligence. I found some websites for AI chatbots when I didn’t have anyone to RP with and I figured I could use them to practice writing more detailed responses because I used to have major writers block. Instead, I ended up falling into the chatbot rabbit hole, becoming obsessed with them and becoming less interested in RPing with ACTUAL people.
Then, I discovered websites that produced AI images. I became obsessed with them because I’m not a professional artist; I can’t draw my ocs and make them look good, so I figured AI generated art was the second best thing. I was pulled in by the amazing looking artwork, daily challenges & bounties provided by the website, perfecting the prompts & formulas that go into making them. I have fallen down a deep hole, and it took me a long time to crawl out of it.
I am so sorry to all of my mutuals and all the people who are anti-AI. I use to complain about the subject, and I still do in some areas, but now I see that I have become a hypocrite. That being said, I would NEVER post anything generated anywhere unless it also involves AI. I’m not trying to steal anything and make it my own, I’m not trying to cheat at art; I just do it for fun! I will try to slowly transition away from that content and on to here. Again, I will not post anything AI generated on Tumblr, so don’t worry about that!///
