I have long hair, which obviously gets me misgendered. (amongst other things that do)

I’ve been cutting it an inch shorter each day this year I’ve been misgendered and I’ve got down to 4 inches this year. It feels sooo good at the end of the day to take a nice shower and brush my hair, and then spend time sectioning it out and cutting it. It’s my little treat.

I will be keeping it long enough though to keep it in a ponytail when I’d like though. My long hairs kind of a safety blanket and I don’t want to part with that yet, but also when I do have a partner, I want them to be able to pull on play with it.

Soooo….update. I’m gonna just buzz it all off lol. I don’t have the appointment set yet but I’ve decided on it for a couple months lol. I want to cut my hair short but have no clue what to do with it tbh. I was worried it’d be bad and I’d have to just cut it all off, but I was fine with the idea of just cutting it all off. So uh…I’m just skipping to that lol. I don’t give my long hair the love it deserves anyways. I’m also kinda excited to see it grow back once it’s cut:3
