Pitty is a rescue who showed up at our doorstep two summers ago. He is a character and we love him very much. He came to us as a kitten.

Way too sweet and not worth the cost. I really like a good iced matcha drink but this was just too sweet. The boba was not light and chewy at all. The boba was hard and chewy like i chopped up a bunch of stale Dots and shoved them in my drink. Their syrup was more like liquified brown sugar on crack. The matcha drop itself was actually really good. Strong and pungent. I could smell the matcha filling the kitchen as it dissolved. The boba was so clunky and thick that the crappy paper straws that came with it were useless. Also, don’t include paper straws. They are absolutely useless once they hit liquid. If you have to include straws maybe include biodegradable plastic or recycled ones. Or maybe a reusable silicone straw. For $14-$15 you should get better quality. Just not worth the cost at all. For the cost of what this kit is, you can go and buy one from a coffee shop. I might have a slight lipstick problem. This was all in the lipstick pocket of my handbag. This was a 3 week labor of love. I am so very excited to break into these tonight. From making my starter (from scratch), feeding it for two weeks and waiting for it to be ready to bake with. Using the discards to make homemade English muffins and making extra starter for my sister. It finally passed the water test and I am finally able to make bread. I found my new holy grail for my thin curly hair. This leave in is a miracle cream. Don’t get me wrong. I still love my JVN air dry cream but this melon berry leave in is formulated specifically for curly girls that have thinner hair. It doesn’t weigh your curls down and leaves them touch-ably soft. It doesn’t feel like a conditioner either. It’s a cream spray formula and you don’t need to wash your hand after using it. It soaks right in like a moisturizer. It’s my holy grail now. The Madagascar centella water fit sun serum by Skin1004 is amazing. It is my daily sunscreen now. It’s very affordable so I can feel good knowing my skin is protected and not dread, not being able to afford a new tube when it’s gone. It soaks in so quickly. Doesn’t have that horrid sunscreen scent. In fact I don’t really smell anything. Only takes two pumps for my face and one for my décolletage. It’s spf50 so it’s perfect for the CA sun. I love how both of these items are affordable even for someone like me on a fixed income. I do enjoy these but they really need some improvements to be perfect. Although it is very easy to use and is easier on my hands than any others I own. It’s great for the arthritis. The problem I have is that it feels cheaply made and that it could easily break. If I’m going to pay around $15 for an item, I want it to last or feel like it will stand up to use. It works great and gets very close to the lash line. Is it worth $15? No, no it is not. I would say maybe $8 tops. I think it’s to smooth on the handles as well. The handle has a little grip marks but they are going the wrong way so the handle is smooth. If your hands are in any way wet or moisturized, it could slip easily. I think it needs some improvements to be worth $15. Otherwise it’s a great product and great idea. They have the concept down perfect. They just need to improve a couple parts. Like maybe make the spring and grommet of stronger materials and the plastic a stronger plastic. Mainly they just need the strength where all the pressure in the curler is. I received both the air dry cream and blow out milk from influenster and JVN for free to test out and review. Okay, so I am still unsure how I feel about them. The air dry cream leaves my curls soft and really tamed the frizziness a lot. If you use the cream the way you are actually supposed to for curly hair ignoring the direction completely then it works great. What I mean by using it the right way is applying the product to your sopping wet hair right before exiting the shower. This is the correct way to apply curly products to curly hair. If you follow the directions then you end up with a floofy frizzy mess that looks greasy and dirty. If used correctly your curls and waves look hydrated and soft. This cream goes a long way and too much will weigh down your curls so find the right amount for you. I have not tried to diffuse with my hair at all with this as I try not to use heat when wearing my hair natural. For the blow out milk I have only really used this a handful of times as I don’t dry my hair often. The days I did blow dry my hair though, I applied the milk after squeezing most the water out of my hair. Then I blue dried my hair in sections with my large barrel brush. This left my hair feeling smooth and shiny without the weight. I also used a tiny bit on my hands for any flyaways. The packaging is nice as well. The air dry cream comes in an aluminum tube and cardboard box. They say recyclable. The milk comes in a nice glass bottle and cardboard box. They are reasonably affordable as a treat. They are both under $28 and actually on sale right now for $20. They are above my normal budget but they would make a nice every now and then pamper product. The thing I love the most about the products is that they are a cruelty free brand and I would feel comfortable purchasing after they are gone.
