Coming up on 12 months postpartum. I am hopefully going to be done nursing soon! This will give me a moment to breathe and begin working again at my physique. This is where I am at right now and I am pleased with my progress.
However, I really need to work on my conditioning and hardening up some of my lower abs and lower body in general. Looking forward to this new phase of my post babies body.

Food Prep, Again!?
Yes, this is another article on food prep. It is amazing how much food prep enters into commitment and dedication to a healthy lifestyle.
My friend Caitlin posted today about buying spaghetti squash pre-prepped from Costco, wow what a difference in prep time that would make!
I just had a conversation with Nate today about how hard food is. Not because what I eat isn’t healthy,…

Bulk Food Prep Vs. Meal Prep
Bulk Food Prep Vs. Meal Prep
What’s the difference?
Usually when I talk about meal prep, I am talking about having your core ingredients on hand and ready. However, “meal prep” has become a real thing on social media now. Pictures of every meal planned out, weighed out, looking identical in perfect containers.
That is not sustainable! Not only does that create a huge amount of dishes for no reason, but it also means that you…

Why Workout a Certain Way? Get my Full Workout!
Now that I am not cutting down for a show. I get to do workouts that I really want to do! And that means I also get to eat for them.
This past week has been a disaster food wise and a ton of fun workout wise. It was my “test” week for where I am starting with my weights and calisthenics training. I also got to take a crossfit class with my friend,…

Morning: Yoga, Coffee
Feeling Tight & Stiff in the Morning?
Mornings can make or break your day. When I think of a morning routine that gives me the motivation to power through my day…..first, I think of coffee 🙂 Then I think of stretching out the kinks!
Lately, I have been waking up a bit more stiff than I used to, mainly from not getting solid sleep and also from tough workouts. So instead of rolling out of bed and…

A Perfect Hygge Day
A Perfect Hygge Day
When Your Day Is Hygge
Today felt amazing, all day. It was gorgeous here in Boise. I took my new best friend on a bicycle ride through this beautiful park, out for coffee with the kids and then went and worked out together at my studio. Bicycled home and spent almost the whole rest of the day out in the yard, playing with the kids and getting some calisthenics training in.
Sometimes when your…

Each time you get up
This weekend was a blur. Going into a competition or big event of any kind is always exciting, it is usually something you have wanted and worked for, for a long time.
So, now that it has come and gone, now what?
I may not have won the competition this weekend, but I certainly feel accomplished.
When I was pregnant with Colton, I was down right terrified that I would never…
