actually more thoughts on demonus… that it doesn’t usually intoxicate humans while having that effect on demons is actually really interesting. we’ve known demons and humans have similar but not the same diets (eating humans isn’t actually good for humans but demons think were tasty, How Would A Human Even Eat A Soul In The First Place, ect)

But this does actually confirm that the ‘poisonous to one but not the other’ thing goes both ways. Drunkenness, biologically speaking, is mild and survivable poisoning, when done responsibly.

So it’s actually 100% possible that human foods can do weird shit to demons. Watermelon could make them trip balls. Twinkies could be fatal. We just don’t know.
