For Cao Yuchen, Hu Yetao was an unpolished diamond—full of potential to be the most brilliant and beautiful adornment but too deep in the dirt and unusual looking for it to be given a chance. Yuchen would sometime mused as his gaze would met Yetao’s across the room, how such a lovely and lively person could endure so much without faltering, without stopping—a lonely figure relentlessly walking on the broad and yet deserted road to his dreams. Such a strong and stubborn person, how could he leave him alone… when the time to say goodbye comes knocking on their doorstep? He was strong and yet so vulnerable. He wouldn't say a word nor show it to anyone, but words from strangers can cut him so deep, wounding his already bleeding heart and soul. A very stubborn person that when presented an opportunity to the things he loves, would fearlessly go even if it ends up hurting him. And yet, this stubborn person would also hesitate, too deep in his self doubt and regrets to know when someone was lending him a hand. So, how could Cao Yuchen, the self-proclaimed backbone, leave him behind? If he could, he wouldn't want to. He'd stay here, right where Hu Yetao can see and reach him in a matter of seconds, so he can hold him, hug him, and give him the comfort that was long overdue. He was Cao Yuchen, one of Hu Yetao's backbone. But what if he wasn't anymore? Because Cao Yuchen, it's time to go home.
