Maybe I grabbed it while we were just about to— He notices Lan Wangji coming in his direction. It just occurs to him that he kind of said it too loud and now all the disciples, including Zewu Jun, are looking at him.

Lan Wangji stops in front of him and stares for a long pause. His eyes hold the same emotions they did a few moments ago, inside the Jingshi. There's a faint smile on his face, one that's reserved only for Wei Wuxian.

A second later, he lowers his head down in front of Wei Wuxian. ‘You may fix it.’

An open declaration.

The whole world stills just as Wei Wuxian's heart comes to a stop.
