a personal reboot

listen idk who even goes on the tag anymore but i have some stuff

i was a really shitty person when i was 16 and 17 years old. i have a lot of trauma due to personal family things and public school things and it resulted in me not being able to handle myself or my emotions. i'm not gonna pretend like i deserve to be forgiven for anything, but i like to think i've grown way the fuck up. college has really helped me get a grounding for myself and helped me learn about what the hell is going on with my brain and gain perspective on a lot of things. i really am a changed person and i have a lot more respect for people and their right to do what they want, how they want, for their own reasons.

that being said, i feel like a lot more people than i know of have chosen to cut me off for actions i committed when i was younger and more self centered. for that reason, i'm here to say that i want to start over with *everyone*. i'm ready to be a better person. i'm ready to be a healthier friend. toxicity has no place in my actions, and if it does, i hope whoever chooses to spend their time with me will call me out so i can cut that shit out.

Greeting fellow Humans

As many, if not all have heard, Nacl has stepped down, and rather than just letting the blog die, they reached out to me. One of the first Teefs, and I agreed (originally) to update when he had passed.

Sadly, Nacl won’t be with us long, however, being a salty bitch they are, they asked to at least post asks, since there is a new ‘tea’ blog in town, who has decided to post the asks.

I have the list of no name mentions, and as always will uphold that. But, for now, you have to deal with me, Teef the like, twenty second, lets say.

I probably won’t be as active as Nacl, nor will I talk as much, I had problems in the past with the sheer amount of hate, but I’m hoping to give people a place to rant/bitch without it being plastered all over the mweor tag. (I’d prefer to see some love notes/cookies there, personally.)

Alright, so us mods have been talking and we feel like there’s enough people coming out saying they wish the tea to not be tagged to the Mweor tag. First off, thank you to those of you who requested it not to be tagged politely, yall are the ones making this happen! From now on, tea will be tagged as tea and sugar as sugar, but only sugar will be tagged to the Mweor tag. HOWEVER, all toxic tea will still remain unposted! Whether it be about us, another player, or the site. It is one thing to send tea about not liking the event, or how the site layout doesn’ t work on your phone, but toxicity is being screened out. With that said, you are still welcome to send in whatever asks you wish, or you can message us directly. To those of you who have sent in respectful asks about your concerns of our blog, we thank you and we hear you. Us mods here at Sugar and Tea will continue to closely monitor what asks we post, and if the blog ever goes past what we intended it to be, it shall be deleted. Other than not tagging tea, the best we can offer you if you do not want us around at all, is to block us like others have.

i also dont care how much shade you throw at me and how you think i'm behaving, i'm behaving this way because i am ANNOYED and this is ridiculous. i dont care if you keep the blog but please for the love of god at least limit your tagging to like 3 posts a day like the other blogs do. youre FLOODING the tag and its inconsiderate.

edit: or make a queue that posts like a couple things a day. something, please. the other positivity blogs have ways of making sure theyre not clogging the tag.

can we come up with a tag for submission blogs to post to?

so they can still tag their shit but it filters into a mweor tag for submission blog posts so the people who wanna see that stuff can look it up and the people who dont wanna see it can browse the mweor tag uncluttered? ideally every submission blog would be made aware of this by me if we want this and they would hopefully all use the submission tag, so you'd see all the submissions to all the blogs in one tag from now on.

hi i know ive been really quiet about the site events but i think we all need to acknowledge how much work kah has put into the site since she brought it back a few years ago. she really didnt have to come back, and look at all the updates we've gotten!

honestly this event is amazing, and she appears to be working really hard on making updates as close to what the community as a collective wants as possible.

also like... she doesnt have to do these seasonal events. we didnt have them before when there were two admins so i think it's phenomenal that she's doing this for us.

anyway. i really appreciate kah and yall should too.
