OH MY GOD Andor's direction and cinematography is so good. There's a little moment when Mon and Luthen are meeting for the first time on screen, when they've walked back into Luthen's office away from Mon's attendant. The camera moves around Mon so that she blocks Luthen's face from view right when he drops his 'dilettante art dealer' persona and it's so cool to see his expression be completely different just as it's revealed, right when he starts speaking in his more serious voice. Absolute cinema.

i think andor and rogue one and also clone wars are my favourite pieces of star wars media oh and also revenge of the sith (js coz like cmon yk?)

but truly, star wars is just such an expansive universe where there's just so much content i feel like you can always learn and gain a deeper understanding of all the lore and context within the whole thing yk?

and i LOVE the political side of it all, i think its a great way for audiences to connect the fictional world with reality and that, in a way, enables us to understand our world as well as the fictional one (of star wars) better, like it gives us a deeper understanding of the world around us (because it allows us to draw connections and relate our reality to the star wars universe)

ok wait so im maybe just realising that their relationship is an example of how their shared goal of fighting against the empire's imperial rule, and establishing the rebellion affected like their WHOLE lives including their relationships with others

like it was a good way to show how their will to fight for the rebelion and stuff was so deep and although they loved each other, it wasn't enough
