Mason had never really planned to become the chancellor, he wanted to be a professor and never really thought past that point but at a certain point in his career he just realized that he could go further and that he was ready to take a more administrative position in the education of students and not a hands on one. He still got fairly involved in the process, and had even been known to pop into a psychology course or two to fill in if a professor couldn’t show but mostly he was left to the administrative. Today his schedule was jam packed with calls that he didn’t at all want to focus on. “Waverly—can you come join me? this meeting is threatening to put me to sleep” the phone on speaker but his side was muted, leaving him to simply hearing the voices droning on about budgeting.

“of course chancellor craft.” waverly responded upon hearing his words, the red head proceeded to get up from her desk to join her boss in his office. as she approached him and began hearing the call she shook head. “no wonder you’re falling asleep, just hearing these men speak.” she added and without wasting anymore time the red head took a sit on his lap. “now how may i help you, sir ?” the words fell from her lips so smoothly as her dark hues met his own. there were a few ideas in waverly’s head but he was the one in charge, the one who gave her the orders.

Lincoln hadn’t always been a professor, for two decades he had been a very prominent and notable cardiac surgeon but as he got older he realized his hands just weren’t what they used to and instead of putting his patients at risk he took on a more assistant and diagnostic side to things but as time passed he realized it wasn’t for him. Now for the past 10 years he had been focusing on teaching to the point that he was no the head of the pre-med department. Now he focused his time on making sure his students were the most prepared they could possibly be to step foot in hospitals. He tried to be there for all of his students, to be someone that was always available so as he saw someone appear in his door frame during open office hours he immediately stopped what he was doing “Please come in—close the door. How are you?”.
