Women can now stand, with minimal undressing, at hole-in-the-floor squat toilets around the world (or too-dirty-to-sit Western toilets). Seven easy-to-use, 100% biodegradable funnels per package. (6 1/2 x 4 x 1/8 ; 1 oz)
BAhahahahahahaha, Just what we need.

‘Normal’ Barbie uses real women’s measurements
(Photo: Nickolay Lamm / MyDeals.com)
Meet “normal” Barbie: She’s not impossibly tall and skinny, but instead created in the proportions of the average 19-year-old American woman.

78,000 apply to leave Earth forever to live on Mars

Huge numbers of people on Earth are keen to leave the planet forever and seek a new life homesteading on Mars.

Watch this one second, only because it's way more terrifying. And my response is the same as the previous ad, only possibly more creeped out.
Probably the creepiest advertisement I have ever seen. I wasn't sure how to respond, or what to think, aside from the fact that I never want to eat that ice cream. Nothing about it appeals to me. I'm confused by everything... from the target market, to the well-being of the person who came up with the visual/dialogue.
This is my Manhattanville PSA. I chose to address the laundry issue, because over my four years being here I have probably had the most frustration in the laundry room. I find that more often than not students are just leaving their laundry in machines for hours after the machine has finished. This leads to a lack of empty machines, as well as angry laundry doers throwing the said laundry in heaps wherever need be. And generally this leads to frustration and anger from both party members. The fact is a little bit of courtesy and setting a timer could solve the laundry room battles.
Microsoft and Pizza Hut have partnered up to launch an app for Xbox Live that will allow users to order from the menu directly through their Xbox 360. This just shows me how lazy we can make society. Companies are encouraging laziness, and they are going to disturbing lengths to do so. What is also odd to me is that it will be Facebook integrated? As in I'll see what my friends are ordering from Pizza Hut? That's even weirder. Number one, who cares? and number two, I don't think privacy is going to exist in the near future if this is the rate were going at.
A fake tweet on Twitter seems to have cause a flash crash in the stock market... What a vulnerable system our stock market is if something like Twitter can cause such a drastic reaction.
Dove hired a forensic artist to draw how women see themselves versus how others see them. Watching it made me consider how I would describe myself if I was in their shoes, and how different it would be from the reality. I think it's a really beautiful video, even if they are selling their brand. They're doing it in a very clever way and sending out a message that every female really should take in and understand.
At least the movie "Armageddon" is good for something. I found this just funny that NASA has their trainees tested on every scientific flaw in the movie. Since there are over 150 of them.
"Contrary to what her shining hair, clear skin, and bright eyes might suggest, Barbie is basically dying. Or, rather, she was never alive in the first place because 1.) She's made of plastic and 2.) She only has enough space in her body for half a liver and a few inches of intestine." What an idol!
I think in general people are becoming more aware of the disturbing thing that is the Barbie, and the idea that she is not the best thing to give your daughter. But ever so often I come across something explaining why in even more detail than the last how sick she really is. And the image of the mock person with Barbie's measurements really was disturbing.
The most trusted name in news strikes again... come on CNN get your act together.
So this is kind of the strangest, probably most of topic post on this blog. But I was so fathomed by the idea of it. Apparently it's a new (my guess is not very popular) trend where women can send their breast milk to a vendor on Etsy, wherere she then puts it through several production stages and turns it into beads, which she then embeds in metal jewelry. I just feel like sites like Etsy and Pinterest are starting to get a little crazy, I mean yesterday I saw a vendor on Etsy selling the faces of small animals.
