Ah. Should have figured.
Well. This might get long.
He… He convinced me that I had no one. That Vaughn was dead, that the rest of my friends had abandoned me. Yvette betrayed me to my face, Fiona and Sasha left me on Helios.
I believed Him. Believed Him when He said He was the only friend I had. Believed Him when He said He was going to make everything right. I let Him convince me He had both of our best interests at heart.
I let Him stay in my head. And He took advantage of it.
One moment I was conscious and in pain from the mangled state of my arm…
The next I was trapped in the back of my own head while He piloted my body.
He found a way to turn all of my subsystems against me. To give Him full control of the body.
And whenever I fought back, He punished me.
With the new arm- which He installed directly into my spinal column and hurt like a motherfucker mind you, He would strangle me. Give me control of my body aside from the arm and choke me within an inch of my life.
Then when I passed out, He’d take full control again.
I lost months. There are entire months of time when I was floating in the Void, barely aware of my own existence. I’d wake up in strange places whenever He felt like throwing me into the front for a little bit of ‘fun’.
And then we went to His facility and I helped Him build His new body. Day and night He used my hands to build Himself, to reprogram the facility, to make everything ‘perfect’. And finally, to transfer His conciousness.
I hadn’t slept in nearly two weeks, He was so set to get everything done.
I passed out for days in His facility and when I finally woke up, He gave me a choice.
I could stay as His partner, His ‘Second in Command’. Or I could leave.
And it took all of my will to run. To know that He was just trying to manipulate me again.

Because I could write a 300 page autobiography about ‘what happened with Jack’ but I imagine you have something specific in mind you want to know about.
