The lone girl kicks a few pebbles into the stream, watching them flow down the river with wonder of where they would go next. She wanted to follow along, but her heart wasn’t feeling up to it. She didn’t want to get up from her log and head back to town. There wasn’t a reason to, her attachment was lacking, no one would be there for her when she arrived or anticipating for her return.

Not a single soul, not family, or friend. She was forgotten about like the sand in an hourglass. A lone Mabel all by herself, with only her thoughts to keep her company. With the only things catching her attention being the wildlife of the forest and her own idle actions.

Mabel could hardly contain her joy that Ava liked what she had gotten her. Each was made with affection in mind, that even included the knife! It was overwhelming just being given these little forms of affection. But she had to try not getting too excited, just reign it in, reign it in... “Oh Ava, you are the best, just... just the best! How did I ever get so lucky as to be with someone like you?” The Demon kissed her favorite girl on the cheek, it didn’t matter what Ava gave her, what mattered is that it came from her... she appreciated it a lot. “A bouquet from you, I’ll cherish it always, forever and forever.”
