What a weird week.

I’m just now getting past the worst of the flu I’ve had for the last few days despite getting the flu jab -_- but I found out a couple days ago that I got the lab job I interviewed for last week so I’m happy with that (I would’ve been pretty surprised if I didn’t get it, they know me and if anything I’m slightly overqualified now that I’ve finished studying lab med, but still super happy I got it), and then last night my cat caught and tore in half a baby brown snake in the fireplace of my bedroom of all places. This is not helping the Australia stereotype hahaha but at least my cat’s fine! No signs of paralysis or anything (I have photo evidence for anyone calling bullshit but it is gory)
