The fact that the original fallout 3 ending guilt tripped you for not sacrificing your 19-year-old life to complete your dad's legacy is so wild.

Like. I think often about how everything James does ends in disaster and everything he sets out to do, he fails, usually due to hubris. Putting LW in a vault, finding the GECK, getting trapped by Strauss, killing himself with radiation to kill a man who is totally fine, etc.

You would think that his only child surviving the mess he made would be a win right. Like, if One thing James wanted worked out, that one thing being the LW having a life past 19 would be a good one.

But no, the game that quantifies good and evil actions with morality points has an opinion on that and you're a selfish bastard for not sacrificing yourself to save Dad's favorite child: a fucking big water purifier
