Saizo had never been the trusting type. He would’ve died a long time ago if he was. He still didn’t trust Corrin yet. If it were up to him, he’d have all the Nohrians under watch but the royals refused. Ryoma even instructed him to not going around starting fights which just resulted in the ninja avoiding the army all together.

There was a certain Nohrian that unsettled Saizo greatly. He didn’t know much about him, just heard the gossip from the others. A vampire? Honestly, people would believe in anything. Speaking of him, that’s just who Saizo was paired up to patrol with.

Instead of starting a conversation, like anyone else, Saizo spent the time glaring at him or flat out ignoring him.
