He chuckled at Dragon’s “threat” about fire, finally crossing the threshold inside and shutting the door behind him as asked. “well maybe i could use a little dragon fire once in a while. it’s definitely cold enough here to need it. ‘sides, i wouldn’t mind getting burned by you.” Another wink. That one might’ve edged on the side a little too close to flirting. Pap reeled himself back in before he insighted Dragon’s wrath.
He shrugged as Dragon declined his offer for weed, not caring much one way or the other. “mind if i light up then? could use a hit right about now.” He wiped his feet on the mutilated mat before stepping inside the living room and glancing around. This place was nice, Pap had to admit.
At the offer of a drink he perked up, nodding his head. “yeah ill take a drink, thanks.” At the questions he shrugged again, his lazy grin still in place. “there’s not much of an angle to have pal. im not usually quite so antisocial but ive been busy settling in and all that. but yeah, most people tend to be pretty big assholes in my experience so socializing isn’t my top priority.”
The comment about finding weed made him laugh, pulling a prewraped joint out of his pocket. “a little bit. but i don’t smoke it a whole ton normally so i just buy when i can.”
He pointed to Dragon with a raised brow. “how ‘bout you though? can you really breathe fire?”
Oh, wow. For how casual Papyrus was, the thought that he wouldn’t mind having his bones singed was interesting. Not too many Alphas tolerated even a finger being lifted against them by their Omega. And yet, Dragon knew that he was desired simply because they wanted to be the ones to “tame” him.
“I don’t give a shit if you wanna blaze it. That’s not somethin’ we’ve outlawed around here,” Dragon said, shrugging.
Not being social made sense. Down in the Underground, monsters were either at each other’s throats, fucking, or just trying to make it by. An Alpha like Papyrus would likely get pushed around heavily by other, more powerful Alphas. There were far too many in Snowdin in Dragon’s opinion, though the true amount of Omegas was a bit skewed considering most were held indoors. The only time they were let out was when they were properly scented and branded to run errands.
“Can’t imagine how much ya spend on that shit. I don’t give a human’s ass if ya light up, I will care if I catch ya stealin’ or takin’ out someone for it. Have to keep some kinda order ‘round these parts.”
Finishing off his drink, Dragon fished another out of the fridge, walking into the living room and holding it out. “Think they’d call me ‘Dragon’ if I just looked like one? Fuckers’d call me a damn winged lizard otherwise,” he muttered with a snort. In reality, they called him “Asgore’s pet dragon”, but he didn’t need to bring that up.
He gathered his magic, opening his jaws to let out a quick burst of flame. It was blue-white, leaving a mist of blue as it dissipated. It was also only a bit away from his guest, but he was careful not to light him on fire. “I don’t wanna know how turned on ya are now so spare me the details. Usually it keeps pushy assholes far away from me.”
