Does Evgenia not realize most of the injuries she suffers with today are because of the training she went through with Eteri Tutberdize?

Orser was so fascinated with her and spent sooo much time with her ahead of his other skaters who probably needed it just for her to revert back to old techniques. If Evgenia thinks Eteri won’t throw her away like a ragged doll again when a shiny new promising junior comes along I’m afraid shes wrong. If another Alina comes along Evgenia won’t be getting the same attention she had with Brian. Eteri has proven she does not care about the skaters....only the profit.

I really want Aliona to leave the Eteri camp and make a name for herself with another coach. She has so much potential to go the long haul. This idea of sharing a coach with both of your competitors seems unhealthy.

All of this pressure and expectation when you are so young is how skaters get burned out early.

I hope all these girls leaving Eteri will help the sport slow down a bit. The trend of producing a break out star every few years only for them to fall off hard was a cycle that needed to be broken. The women’s side desperately needs a Hanyu or a Chen. A woman who can stay at the top and help promote the sport for many years. At the very least hopefully Plushenko can help these girls have a longer career and undo some of the bad things Eteri has taught them.

Eteri does not care about her skaters. She cares about how them leaving will effect her money and status in the figure skating world and in Russia. This is the only reason she is keeping Alina around because she still makes SO much money off of Alina taking a “pause”.

She also knows that this looks very bad at this point. I’m also curious to know why they chose Plushenko. He has been very vocal in the past about skaters not getting paid enough and maybe he offered them some sort of monetary gain from the transition? Anyway I hope this makes Eteri’s pockets hurt.🤪
