This picture is NOT CUTE
they are making her use Window 8. unimaginably cruel
Bonus: If I buy a book I get to keep it! The publisher can't turn up at my house at random and confiscate all the books I bought.
some kind of sketch-doodle-artwork of bayonetta i've been picking at since 2024, i don't know anymore what i was trying to accomplish with it

What i liked about StarFox Zero: the new designs! Especially the short animation! They look fluffy cute! & they’re funny ♥️
What i disliked about StarFox Zero: why try to replace a game that was already perfect? I get wanting to reboot the canon but a continuation to 64 would have sufficed
This 2026 Starfox game is once again trying to replace the already perfect Star Fox 64 but it’s doing it with terrible designs. -100 points!!!
I own/have played every starfox game since 64, including StarLink. But this? I ain’t interested. Just gonna continue replaying StarFox64 my beloved
Reposting because yay new starfox, oh no it's 64 for THE FIFTH TIME YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING--
“zero looks like shit, I hope the next star fox game has better graphics”
*monkey’s paw curls one finger*
Seeing a lot of hate for the new Star Fox designs and the game being another retelling of the first game, but I'm shocked I haven't heard anyone trash on the voice acting yet. I feel like it's 100% a voice direction thing, I'm sure the VAs are perfectly fine at their jobs, but the delivery is all wrong. I think my issue is most clear with Peppy, the VA is still doing the cartoony voice you'd expect, but the line delivery is very subdued to fit with the more serious tone and realistic visuals, it just doesn't feel right for these characters. Idk, I'm far from a hardcore Star Fox fan, maybe I'm alone in this opinion.
OMG finally someone else says it!!! Literally, the moment Slippy's like "Hold on, I've gotta adjust my sensors" and "oh, did you save me" (not verbatim, but I don't care), I had a pit in my stomach from then on. It felt like they ran the script through an AI checker/editor before sending it off to the VAs.
Everything felt stilted and over explained in the same way that Netflix has been shifting their dialogue in their shows to be more "second screen suited", where they explain everything bc they expect people to be scrolling while the show is on in the background.
Red star: Star Fox (1993)
Blue star: retelling of Star Fox (1993)
Magenta star: Wii U digital exclusive tower defense game
Green star: An earnest attempt to make a new game in the Star Fox series
If there was just a single furry on the Star Fox dev team we could've avoided this
Star Fox Adventures will never get a remake or remaster because miyamoto is afraid krystal will overtake princess peach in the r34 rankings.
The characters in the new Starfox being ugly is reflective of the anti queer anti sex anti trans backlash going on right now.
However the new Katt looks like something out of TMNT after the bomb and I love her and I can't wait for the lewd art
I can understand the logic of doing the Lylat Wars all over again for the sake of new gamer kids who haven't experienced the SNES or N64 Star Fox games. Except that both of those are available to play through the Nintendo Online service.
And as poorly as Star Fox Zero for the Wii U did as a series refresh, it at least had original levels and vehicles.
So overall, I'm not impressed with this "new" Star Fox game despite the appeal of the cinematics and new pilot chatter script. From a cynical business perspective, though, I actually hope it sells well enough to embolden Nintendo to actually move forward and make something truly original for once. Or at the very least do another spin on Assault's and Command's post-Andross stories. I wouldn't mind fighting Aparoids or those fish people again, so long as the game-play doesn't deviate too far from the 64 style.
What was the thought process behind Nintendo obviously releasing a new game based on hype built by a character in one of their movies and proceeding to neuter all of the sex appeal from said character when making a new game for him
i figured nintendo would hear the complaints about pricing but damn alright
