Camellia: I don't want to bother you.
queenie: i'm not doing anything
queenie: and if you were really bothering me, i would ignore you
Camellia: Don't worry. I'm fine. A cold can't stop me!
queenie: it's still an inconvenience
queenie: and you'd be contagious
Camellia: no no no! it's fine! i can just wait out hte rain
queenie: wings aside, you'll catch a cold
queenie: and that's never fun
neat-freak-sable:
âItâs nice to meet you too.â He smiled and held up his camera. âUh, would you mind if I take a picture of you?â
queenie was no stranger to cameras, what with the amount of newspaper articles sheâd appeared in back home, but she wouldnât describe herself as photogenic. â...i donât see why not. should i pose a certain way?â
Camellia: i'm a fairy. we can't fly when our wings are wet. unlucky for me, i don't have an umbrella.
queenie: oh, i see
queenie: i could always come get you
Camellia: I was meeting with a person. It started raining as soon as I left.
Camellia: Unfortunately, rain is my enemy in a weird way.
queenie: i see
queenie: rain is your enemy?
shadow-mistress-lilith:
âOh! Interesting. So, have you solved any cases?â She asked tilting her head.
âa few. my first case was when i was thirteen. it was originally my fatherâs, but after he was injured, i took over,â she said. âsome cases are open and shut, some are more complicated.â
neat-freak-sable:
âYeah. It was either your birthday, an anniversary or just a random present from a friend. Happy Birthday.â He chuckled and held his hand out. âIâm Sable.â
âtrue. random presents do sometimes pop up in the mail,â she said. olivia liked to surprise her sometimes. she shook the boyâs hand. âqueenie baker. itâs a pleasure to meet you.â
Camellia: wel, it's nice to meet you then! er... talk to you, anyway. it helps pass the time.
queenie: i understand what you mean, don't worry
queenie: so how exactly did you get caught in a downpour?
digthames:
@qceenies
- What are you doing here? - I heard there was a poetry reading.
@jascnstoker
Camellia: It is, isn't it?
Camellia: can i ask you what your name is?
queenie: oh, right
queenie: i'm queenie baker
jascnstoker:
Listening to the girl, a dark smirk grew on his lips. âAh so Iâve been told.â he agreed with a nod. âYou forgot to add cocky, oh and canât forget handsome.â he added with a wink. âYou donât say.. well we happen to have that in common.â he pointed out casually.Â
âcocky. clearly.â she just gave him a bored look when he winked at her, choosing not to feed into his ego as much as she possibly could. âis that so? then surely, you canât be offended when someone is watching you if you do the same thing to others all the time.â
agutknecht:
aiweiâs grin was crooked with embarrassment; there was no use hiding his initial purpose. âi swear iâll get you a better gift but literally no one wants to do this survey, and someone actually just took it and made a paper plane and threw it away. people are so mean,â he sighed, shaking his head.Â
he took a seat across from her and slid it across the table, avoiding the presents. âif you could just check it out, that would be awesome. and, gosh, you have so many presents â did you have a party?â he smiled.
âthereâs no need to get me an actual gift. itâs not necessary.â she took the survey, quickly scanning it. she didnât see what the issue was. people were complaining about the dance, and with good reason, but writing their issues down would help the problem be addressed quicker. at least in theory. she didnât think the staff were all that great at putting things into practice.
âi didnât. iâm not really one for parties,â she said. âwe had a small one sometimes, when my godmother and her father were in town. it was just them, myself, my dad, my godfather, and our housekeeper.â
