just curious, do you take comms?

I’ve only done a few small batches in the past. I want to take more, but finding time around uni is tough, and I’m not set up for taking payments.

I’ll keep updating in the future regardless, I’ve wanted to for a while! it all depends on how things are when i have enough time + feel up to it :)

Sorry if this is weird but howd u learn to draw so many different things? Like…when or if you do art studies how do you go about them? Your art is so beautiful and fluid and soft!

i’m not catching up on asks quite yet but i thought I should answer this one, sorry it’s so late!

I’m mostly self taught in actual drawing, my major is in design. so it just depends on how much i feel like doing studies! sometimes i really like to draft out poses, and it turns out like gesture studies. i glance over references whenever i really need them.

nowadays i only really look at references when i’m drawing defined muscles from different angles, and even then i just flatten them out into easier shapes that i can map onto a body. i’m starting to learn to freehand muscle structures as well. learning proportions came naturally out of repetition.

i sort of just naturally drift to doing art related things. i learned the concepts of composition and color really early and i just kept wanting to know more about it. studying a lot of photography for lighting and color grading can be really helpful, i recommend looking at photography from professional portfolios instead of just google. it makes a difference when you’re looking through a personal collection instead of a bunch of wildly different qualities of pictures.
