Winter: We... aren't married?

Qibli: Not yet, at least! It is something we plan on doing once all of the world ending apocalypses stop happening. Hopefully the wedding is amazing when it does happen, though

Qibli: I mean, I wouldn't exactly call Thorn my mom, but I suppose it's not entirely an inaccurate assessment...

Winter: And they do know now, but they weren't exactly the first people we told about our relationship.

Qibli: Well, I told Thorn pretty quickly, but we had told the rest of our friends first.

Winter: And I only told Snowfall recently because she wasn't entirely supportive of interspecies relationships until her whole encounter with that magical ring.

Qibli: But yes, both of our Queens know that we're together.

Qibli: They're just excited and supportive in their own way. We kiss all the time anyway, so it's not that big of a deal.

Qibli: I'm not a big fan. Too much fur. I prefer lizards

Qibli: Winters spikes aren't actually as sharp as they appear! They can be a little uncomfortable sometimes, but I've never hurt myself on them. It's really all about finding a comfortable position

Winter: And I'm not always little spoon, so it's even less of a problem then

how did the rest of the jade winglet react to your relationship?

Winter: It was a bit of a mixed bag

Qibli: Moon had suspected that we had feelings for each other early on, and was supportive the whole way, but the rest of our winglet was completely surprised when we told them the news. Kinkaju was very excited for us. Turtle was a bit more reserved, but he was happy for us

Winter: Peril seemed down right confused, like she couldn't even fathom the idea of romantic feelings, let alone the two of us being in a relationship

Qibli: She's come around now though, and supports us just as much as the other three

Question to Qibli: How much did Winter change after your first kiss? Did he got softer and more relaxed with you?

Qibli: He'll deny it to his last breath, but he did become softer after we both confessed and had our first kiss. It didn't happen over night, and he can still be a bit prickly at times, but he makes an effort to be kinder to me, and that's all I can really ask

Do either of you use pick up lines on each other? Which ones?

Winter: Qibli is the one who likes to use pick up lines, and they're usually super cheesy and stupid

Qibli: Oh come on! I know you love them!

Winter: Only because it's funny to watch you fail so hard at wooing me

Qibli: All I'm hearing is that you think I'm funny

Winter: Well, you are funny, I'll give you that

Qibli: Of course I am!

How did you guys first react when you realize you had feelings for each other? Like, were either of you surprised? Or did one of you panic?

Qibli: I think we were both a little shocked by the revelation. We hadn't exactly gotten along when we first met

Winter: And we were both definitely panicking just a bit. It can be a scary thing, realizing your in love with someone, especially when their from a different tribe

Qibli: But it all worked out in the end, and we couldn't be happier!

what was moon's reaction to your guy's relationship?

Qibli: She saw it coming, really. Before everyone got skyfire, she was able to hear some of the thoughts we had about each other, so she wasn't really surprised when we got together

Winter: She's been very supportive of us. I think she had been hoping we would realize our feelings for each other and get together

Hey Winter, do you have a pet scavenger? If so what's their name and what does Qibli think of them? Do the two of you take care of it together or is it just Winter?

Winter: I do have one! His name is Pumpkin!

Qibli: I think it's a little weird to keep scavengers as pets, but Winter's excitement about it is cute. I do help him take care of it when he needs me too

When did each of you realize you were in love or had crushes on the other?

Qibli: Well, Winter has always been annoyingly handsome, but I think when I first really started catching feelings was when he volunteered to come with me to confront my grandfather. It had been so unexpected, and I just felt the need to want to protect him from the ugly sides of my life

Winter: I started to realize after he had cracked a joke about us getting married to his mom. I had laughed at the time, but after thinking about it, I realized the idea was strangely appealing, and a part of me hoped it would happen someday

qibli, what is your favorite season!

Qibli: Oh, that's a tough one! I'd probably have to go with Fall. It's not too hot, not too cold, and the colors that time of year are absolutely gorgeous - not to mention the Harvest festivals and the Equinox festivals are always so fun!

Winter and Qibli, do you ever have... rough days? Like, thinking about your family? How does the other react?

Qibli: Winter is the little spoon

Qibli: Ok, ok, I know. We switch depending on how we're feeling

Qibli: And yes, we do have rough days sometimes. Our families had never been the best to us, so it's hard to think about them, as you can imagine. When Winter is having a rough day, I usually cuddle with him and tell him dumb jokes to help him get his mind off if things

Winter: When Qibli is having rough days, I make him his favorite drink and sit with him while he vents about it

Not that deep, no. I had just been busy with school and I graduated a couple weeks ago so now I actually have time for this blog again :>

do you two know about Blaze and Glacier's relationship? i mean they are literality you but women

Qibli: No one had known at first, not even Winter. During the war, even low class citizens had to keep relationships like ours a secret. It was so much worse for the royal families. But after the war was over, a lot of Icewings and Sandwings could tell they were a bit more then just friends

Winter: It became really clear after the death of my aunt. Blaze had been absolutely destroyed, more than even some members in the Icewing royal family

Qibli: We can only hope relationships like this will become more accepted in the future

I just want the story about the first kiss and/or confession

Qibli: To everyone's surprise, Winter actually made the first move

Winter: Hey! It wasn't that surprising!

Qibli: It was just a little surprising though

Winter: Alright, fine...

Qibli: Anyway, it had been about a year after the defeat of Darkstalker, and we had been attending the moon festival together in the Sand kingdom. We had both had a great time, and towards the end of the night, as we watched the fire works, Winter decided to kiss me. The kiss was a little awkward since it was both our first, but it was sweet at the same time. And the rest is history

Winter: It took me a lot of courage to do that, you know...

Qibli: I know. And I couldn't be happier about it
