It's so crazy to think about how Lang Qianqiu had to take care of Guzi after Qi Rong dispersed. Like imagine you're hunting down your worst enemy, the person who is responsible for the death of your entire family and who is all around nothing but evil. And then, not only do you not manage to kill him, but you're forced to care for a child who is PROOF that your enemy had good inside of him. You're forced to hear this child mourn your enemy and you even help him care for your enemy's remnants.
Its honestly such a good end to Lang Qianqui's arc that I don't see talked about enough. At the beginning he was naive and idealistic seeing everyone as capable of good, but became jaded and bitter after learning that people whom he saw as good were capable of evil.
Taking care of Guzi forces him to recognize that nobody is all good or all evil, and he has to live with the implications of that and put his anger aside to care for an innocent child.
Yeah and that’s why him and Qi Rong should get married, I agree, I agree!!
