mind maps - organize your thoughts and ideas

pocket - save things to read later 

beeline - read faster 

wunderlist - an excellent to-do list application

habitrpg - give yourself incentive to keep habits

cold turkey - block distracting websites

text mode - blocks images and videos on websites so you can read with less distractions

one tab - consolidate tabs into a list 

stayfocused - limits the amount of time you can spend on certain websites

spritz - speed reading can help you better focus on reading, do it faster and improve comprehension 

info on how to start practicing mindfulness - daily mindfulness meditation has been shown to improve ADHD

lumosity - train your brain

tab for a cause - put those 200 tabs you open everyday to good use

and, for days when you don’t want to focus on anything, try stumbleupon

I don’t think our generation truly understand how different our future is going to be.

There are a lot of things that are going to be very different in the distant future. Here’s a few:

Saltwater fish could be extinct by 2048 

Whites will become the american minority in 2044

Bees are dying (and bringing important staple foods down with them)

The world having significant less oil by 2040 (and may even run out completely by 2068)

Chocolate will be scarce by 2020

The world is running out of helium

By 2050, we might not have enough resources to feed our cattle, so we could actually run out of hamburger meat (best case scenario: Steak will just become very expensive, which means no more $1 burgers)

Parents are seriously at the point where they have to chose between saving for their retirement or paying for their kids college fees; sometimes, they can’t do both

global warming is ruining the world
