My name is Andrew Ferris, everyone calls me Ferris, and Jeri Jernigans is the love of my life. Me and Jeri met over a year ago and have had a very long stressful year full of awful people, awful situations, and us being by each other no matter what, to realize come September that we are absolutel...
well, here it is.
my name is jei. i am 21 years old, mentally ill, disabled ( severe depression/anxiety) and trans.
my boyfriend wrote this for me.
i’m leaving saint louis. things are not well at home. at the moment, things are okay. mentally, being at home is exhausting. my mother is verbally and mentally abusive and plays favorites with my brother, to the point of ignoring me, allowing him to do whatever he wants (not allowing me to do much, such as have friends over or go out much) and interacting with him and being more invested and interested in him.
even before he moved in, we would have an on and off cycle. things would be fine for a few months, we’d be okay, and suddenly, i’d make a mistake and we’d have an hour or two of her putting me down, yelling at me, and threatening me to the point where i’d cry and self harm after she was done. after that, we’d be silent and avoid one another for days or weeks.
i haven’t reached out to my family because she threatened to kick me out if i ever told anyone what she does and says to me. no one in my family knows what’s going on and if i told, it’d get back to her and she’d put me out asap. so i’ve kept quiet and i’ve played along with her.
i’m exhausted. i cannot do it anymore.
i’m back on m medicine, but being home just drains me. i avoid coming home or bringing friends over. going home scares me. i dread going home. i’m constantly afraid of fucking up and ruining our “peaceful” moments.
i need to leave missouri for my own mental health and safety. i would’ve written the gofundme myself and posted this and the link on facebook, but my family and friends of family are there and it would not be safe for me. places like tumblr + twitter are my only save havens. thank you.
if you can read this, pass it along - that’d be great. if you can’t donate, please reblog and share this.
i also offer commissions - if you’re interested, please message me for pricings and examples. if you don’t want art, you can donate to my paypal ([email protected]) or the gofundme.
thank you so much. thank you.
and if you have questions, please message me. thank you. do not send asks.
Also not reading posts just seeing if you replied.

why is my life so GOT DAMB WEIRD
please take a moment to acknowledge the women who trump has sexually assaulted. their abuser has become the president of the united states of america and that’s traumatizing for them and for the collective psyche of all survivors.
please, take care of yourselves.

Anti-Trump Resisters and Organisers!
YOU NEED GOOD SECURITY CULTURE. The USA has one of the most powerful anti-radical police states in the world, and they WILL clamp down hard on any opposition, peaceful or otherwise.
Here’s some resources which might help:
privacytools, which should help teach you a bit about encryption and provide you with good starting points for making your communications that little bit harder to detect and read.
Download Tor, a browser which, with a little bit of extra caution will help keep a lot of what you do online secret.
Start using an encrypted messenger app on your phone. Telegram is the most popular, but its encryption is not the best. Personally I recommend using Wire (which also works as a desktop messenger app), or even WhatsApp functions acceptably.
Learn how to use and set up Proxies and a VPN
Start using an encrypted and independent email service. Many radical groups use riseup.net but they are very well known to security services and are monitored more closely than most. Their server ownership is also in question. I use Proton Mail but there are other services too.
When actually doing actions offline, learn how to maintain anonymity. Black Bloc is a good option for this (here’s a video on how to at a basic level, but the gist of it is to cover your face as much as possible, and to dress entirely in black), but there are other tactics such as all wearing boiler suits of the same colour, or simply destroying CCTV and other surveillance devices in the area you are operating in.
STAY SAFE. DON’T DO ANYTHING STUPID. WE NEED YOUR HELP.
obviously homophobia and misogyny played a role in the way this election went and obviously all women and LGBT people have a right to be worried but don’t be disingenuous.. …. we know that the outcome of this election was fueled primarily white supremacy and xenophobia. fellow white women and white gays need to wake the fuck up and start thinking more critically about this.
the voting rights act wasn’t in place to protect you. it was never for you, and to have it gone is not targeting you.
Hi everyone! This is an illustrated guide I made as part of my co-admining work at The Middle Eastern Feminist on Facebook! It will be published there shortly. The technique that is displayed here is a genuine one used in psychology - I forgot the name and couldn’t find it again so if you know about it, feel free to tell me! Some could say: “Yes but you can use that technique for instances of harassment other than Islamophobic attacks!”, and my reply is: Sure! Please do so, it also works for other “types” of harassment of a lone person in a public space!! However I’m focusing on protecting Muslims here, as they have been very specific targets lately, and as a French Middle Eastern woman, I wanted to try and do something to raise awareness on how to help when such things happen before our eyes - that way one cannot say they “didn’t know what to do”! I’d like to insist on two things: 1) Do not, in any way, interact with the attacker. You must absolutely ignore them and focus entirely on the person being attacked! 2) Please make sure to always respect the wishes of the person you’re helping: whether they want you to leave quickly afterwards, or not! If you’re in a hurry escort them to a place where someone else can take over - call one of their friends, or one of yours, of if they want to, the police. It all depends on how they feel! For my fellow French-speakers: I will translate it in French and post it on my page as soon as I can :) Please don’t hesitate to share this guide as it could push a lot of people to overcome bystander syndrome!! Lots of love and stay safe!
To all my followers in the USA who are as shocked as everyone else about Trump being president, I want you all to stay safe
You are not bad for going back into the closet or not wearing your hijab or presenting as your assigned gender in the coming weeks. You are still deserving respect and you are still worthy of love. Your physical safety comes first.
My pilot for Cartoon Network was just released! It’s called Infinity Train. It’s about a girl, her robot, and a corgi king. It took us about a year to make and I really hope you like it. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, I wouldn’t have been able to make this without the support of so many wonderful people!
