if closeted queer people have the respect and ability not to make queer-targeted jokes bc theyre aware of how itll come across, why would we not hold dream to that same standard? the queer community will take leaps and bounds to protect each other from feeling discriminated against because we know how it feels. and for dream to constantly use the excuse of ambiguous is really.. just tone deaf and also incredibly harmful because it just isnt something people in the lgbt community do. we dont make jokes at the expense of other queer ppl unless its with our friends who we are out to and comfortable with. in a PRIVATE space. theres not really any excuse for the shit hes pulling and BEEN pulling and I’m tired of his sexual ambiguity being used to excuse it. if closeted and in-danger queer people can protect the comfort of their peers then why cant he?

passing trans men will cross the street to make women feel comfortable because they Know how they come across. straight-passing queers will refrain from making the jokes they would around their friends because theyre aware it just sounds homophobic unless theyre willing to out themselves to strangers or acquaintances. its so … rooted in our community. why does he get a pass?
