Hi sweet angels, I need help paying for my MRI. Having ANOTHER head mri for what I think was seizures (several episodes where I’d wake up dripping sweat folded in half onto my own lap and unable to remember what happened why I passed out or why I felt so bad) and can’t afford the copay at all. I blame him (at least partially) for the rise in anti-indian racism in the late 2010s to today and people look at me like I'm the friend who's too woke when I say that. But it's true
and you’d be right to blame him. he normalized the rise in anti-indian and anti-desi racism through “jokes.” it took me forever to take pride in my indian heritage bc of the culture he helped set up.

Three days ago, this beautiful baby girl (masa) was born. Her name signifies high value and beauty, and it suits her perfectly, for she is very beautiful and dear to all our hearts. She is my brother's second daughter, Iman's younger sister.
Despite the immense joy that has filled our hearts and the delight we feel at the arrival of this new member of our family, we are deeply saddened by the situation of this child and how she will grow up and live her life in Gaza, which is facing genocide.
Gaza is not safe, and this child was born in the worst place in the world. It's not her fault that she's a child who doesn't understand or feel anything, but she was born in Gaza. This is not easy at all. Here, formula, diapers, and all baby supplies are incredibly expensive, even more so than food and drink, due to their scarcity.

My friends, please listen to me and understand what I'm saying. I swear the war here is not over. We still live in fear every single day. Every day we hear the sounds of shelling, and every day innocent people and children are targeted, their only crime being that they were born here. We are not asking for the impossible. We simply want our children to live in safety, to wake up without fear, and to sleep without their homes being shaken by explosions.
A house near me was evacuated a little while ago, and just minutes later it was completely destroyed right before our eyes. How can you say the war is over? I swear it's not over, and we live in terror every single day. 💔😭
