15 and 2!
15. Science fiction: dude I just saw hellraiser (1987) for the first time and it goes crazy. Best B movie
2. An indie film: man idk what indie even means these days but. I think my old ass (2024) is an indie and it had a sequence that made me laugh harder than anything I’ve seen in a while. Also Aubrey plaza and shrooms as a plot device yes love
4 + 6 +9 + 19 (if you dont have an answer to any of them i also take 10 as reserve spot) for the film ask!
Ok these answers are gonna be heavily influenced by what I’ve seen lately!!
4. A foreign language film: perfect days (2023). Really beautiful and contemplative. I loved it
6. An animated film: puss in boots: the last wish (2022). The action sequences are so fantastic. I need to rewatch it
9. A film from the year you were born: titanic babeyyy
19. A film to feel good/uplifted: Sing sing (2023). Criminally underrated and overlooked, might be my favorite movie of the past year. The ways we survive and find joy in the darkest places…. The importance of theater… oughhh
