REBLOG IF YOU ARE A LGBT+ WITCH!
Hello! As a LGBT+ witch I would really like to follow you guys :)
(Especially teen LGBT+ witches since… ya… know I am one.)
This is a little spell jar I did to promote my own self love and self care! This is not something that I plan to bury, but rather keep in my space as a reminder to continue my journey of loving and caring for myself. It was such a nice uplifting experience to make💕
💖Materials💖
🌸 A glass jar of your choosing that can be sealed with a cork or lid 🌸 Fire proof container, incense burner, mortar and pestle 🌸 Rose quartz 🌸 Self love sigil 🌸 Rose and frankincense incense for love and peace from insecurity and anxiety 🌸 Cinnamon 🌸 Nutmeg 🌸 Dried rosemary 🌸 Dried rose petals or rosebuds 🌸 Sugar 🌸 Pink Himalayan salt 🌸 Pink candle
💖What to do💖
🌸 Burn the incense and self love sigil 🌸 Combine with mortar and pestle and pour into jar 🌸 Add the following into the jar in this order: cinnamon, nutmeg, rosemary, sugar, pink salt and then top up with rose petals/buds 🌸 Cleanse and charge your rose quartz, hold it in your hands and think loving thoughts about yourself then add into jar 🌸 Create a list of things you love/enjoy about yourself 🌸 Light pink candle, look into the flame and read your list aloud 🌸 Put cork on the jar and seal with the candle wax 🌸 Charge overnight in moonlight and place jar somewhere you will see it often
Let me know if you make this and how it works out for you!! Love, light and blessings my dear friends 💖
self care tips!! uwu

-find pigs to eat
-become so obsessed with killing a pig that you ignore every other sense of reason
-paint your face
-offer a pigs head to your mental demons
-separate yourself from society and create a tribe of chaos and savagery
-throw a boulder at a boy who was trying to retain order in your falling apart civilization, killing him instantly
-find someone who is better than you at things and destroy him
-set the island on fire
Why is it that some people give up on their dreams? Because at some point, they began to believe that they are unachievable. They began to believe that they were not capable, unworthy, or lacked the skill that was needed.
But if we are not to follow our hearts, Suppress our biggest passions, And deny our life’s fulfillment, Who will we turn out to be? Will our life contain genuine happiness?
It’s important for us to break up our goals into smaller tasks. Things that we can achieve today that will bring us closer towards that end goal.
Why? Because one cannot reach the stars by simply looking at them. And when they appear so far away; it is easy for one to become discouraged.
And give up.
So, take a moment to break your goals up into smaller pieces. Don’t allow for its wholeness to daunt you. You can get there, but you must first create the steps.
Baby witch tips
Research: • Do you want to follow paganism, a Wiccan path, or create your own? If you do want to follow Wicca or paganism, start with the history and traditions. Learn about the proper altar set up, the sabbats in the wheel of the year, their beliefs, gods, goddesses, deities, etc. • if you want to create your own path, think about why you wanted to practice in the first place; are you intrigued by the lunar phases? Does astrology fascinate you? Start there! If you’re interested in using candles or crystals, learn about their correspondences and metaphysical properties • take a lot of notes! Not only will you thank yourself later, but it will also help you find out where to go from here and what you’re truly drawn to • practice, but only once you’re comfortable: always take safety precautions and always thoroughly look into herbs, especially if consuming or using topically; keep water near by if you’re using candles and never let them burn unattended • I’d also suggest doing a spell for protection, cleansing or self love as your first ritual when you’re ready and feel confident enough
A few other notes: Remember that you can do things your own way!! I seriously can’t stress that enough, like I’m not Wiccan or Pagan but I still enjoy celebrating the sabbats. I am also a completely independent witch and have never worked with a coven, I prefer it this way tbh. Plus I don’t work with spirits, deities, gods or goddesses either. It’s all about what’s best for you
Lunar phases: The moon cycle is very important in my path, I follow it closely and celebrate every full moon. I also do most spells in accordance with it, plan my cleansings with the dark moon, etc. Water witches should also look into tides
Herbs, oils, and teas: Herbs need to be treated with respect and caution. Some are poisonous. Some can not be ingested or applied to skin, some shouldn’t be used in large doses, while breastfeeding or pregnant, etc. this is why research is so important!!! Oils can be infused with herbs or you can use essential oils, which “represent large quantities of plant material and are therefore very powerful plant derivatives that should be used sparingly and carefully” and are commonly mixed with a carrier oil There’s also tinctures and salves made from herbs and even herbal teas can be used metaphysically or medicinally (but thoroughly research either way make sure you’re not allergic, and be cautious)
Meditation and visualization: I personally think this is a huge part of witchcraft! It’s become one of my favourite areas to research and is always connecting to other aspects of my life, bringing me new opportunities, wonderful experiences as well as endless success in my craft
Crystals and elixirs: “A crystal elixir is the unique vibratory energy pattern of a crystal imprinted into the auric and biophysical energy matrix of water.” Always check that the gemstone will not dissolve (like selenite), rust (like pyrite), or release any toxins (like malachite). There are also several ways for the water to absorb the crystals energy without being submerged like this example
Divination: tarot or oracle cards, pendulums, scrying mirrors or bowls, tea leaf readings, runes, etc. There’s a variety of methods, each with their own process. I personally enjoy using seashells, but that’ll require a post of its own to properly explain
Altars: there’s a specific set up for Wiccan altars, certain colours and symbols for sabbats, etc. but an altar is any sacred space. For example, it could be your nightstand with just a photo of your dog, some candles and a crystal ─ as long as it brings you comfort! It also doesn’t have to be your workspace. I have one with an empty spot for preforming rituals but the other ones I don’t usually touch much or at all
Offerings: usually left to gods, goddesses, fae, deities, etc. I like to leave them for small animals or just for nature in general ─ also remember that you can remove litter as an offering too and make sure that you do not ever leave anything which could harm the environment it was left in!!!
I know I missed a lot of things but this is just to give everyone a general idea of what to research and where to start, I hope it helps! 🙊🕯✨
no one’s a perfect witch 🌙
🌙 spells wont always work, and that’s okay. one failed spell, or even ten doesnt mean your power has left you completely, it just means you need to re-center yourself and rediscover it.
🌙 how often you do something witchy does not make you more or less of a witch. taking time for you is okay. missing full moons for spells or pagan holidays is fine, they are not mandatory
🌙 there will always be more to learn, don’t feel pressured to learn it all, especially if it’s not something you’re interested in. go at your own pace.

coyote skull with a peony, bleeding hearts, and lilac sprigs
Gentle reminder
it’s okay if your spells don’t always work
it’s okay if you struggle with meditation, we live busy lives and our minds are just as busy - calming it can be hard
it’s okay if you don’t have the means to buy all the fancy stuff - you don’t really need it anyways
it’s okay if you need more time than others to progress; we all learn at different paces
it’s okay if you realize something you thought was right/wrong is actually wrong/right
it’s okay to not know where you’re going yet
it’s okay to be overwhelmed
it’s okay to not do things you don’t want to do even though everyone else does it
it’s okay if your offerings are always the same and/or simple - you’re doing your best
it’s okay if you have to hide what you do, you’re not at fault
It’s okay, I promise.
