This is a piece based on their AU/game idea Mario & Luigi: Of Love and Revenge, where a happily married Cackletta and Antasma are strolling peacefully through Dimble Wood; where they reside.

So, I’ve never really posted about my Mario AU called Shattered Senses! Well, I did on Amino before it got nuked (RIGHTFULLY SO!!) but I’d like to introduce it by sharing a Cackletta :)

(Read more for some AU backstoryyyyy! But it’s not the full thing because that would take a 5 hour infodump and goes into the plot of the AU fic ngl)

Cackletta Greenwood was born to top fashion designer Gigglina Greenwood and her husband. As an only child in an aristocratic family, she was expected to perform well. She didn’t disappoint - she learned some magical skills by the time she turned eight, and excelled in academics.

When she was twelve, she would meet a boy in her class called Carlos. They would eventually go on to have a 17 year long relationship that started when they were both sixteen years old.

At a similar time, she realised her dream: to become a Lady of the Court. Servants of the castle and the royal family, they keep the kingdom running in the background. Luckily, with almost perfect grades throughout her childhood, she was able to be admitted into Woohoo Hooniversity - the most prestigious university in the nation, where she would study for three years to become a Lady.

And by an incredible stroke of luck, combined with being noticed frequently by the newly crowned Queen Bean, she was hired. She finally got her dream job! Even better yet, she got promoted to the prestigious role of High Lady, a job only one or two individuals will have at any one time.

Unfortunately… everything has been crashing down after ten years since her promotion.

It's been a very boring ride over here so far, because I just don't post here. I'm going to change that.

Over a similar period of time (I think I started it a year after I made this blog in early 2022), I have been working on my Mario AU, Shattered Senses. I haven't really spoken about it here, but I think over the next year... I would like to actually do that, considering my blog is a barren wasteland right now with the odd reblog once in a blue moon.

So... Yeah! Let's see how my tumblrversary resolution stands in 2027. Maybe I will just lurk again 🤷‍♀️

I need to let people know that beloved artist, and my dear friend @fawfulydoo passed away july 28th, 2025.

They were well known in the invader zim, deltarune, mario & luigi, and many other scenes for their art and animations.

please keep them in your thoughts. may they rest in peace

I am a very silent fan hanging out in the Mario & Luigi RPG space, but this has been incredibly shocking and heartbreaking to hear.

I want to try to keep this short and sweet, because I really don't want to ramble too hard and say something that would be rather insensitive during this period of time.

Initially, I thought this was some kind of... joke. I was, and kind of still am in denial. But, it is not. And it really hurts. I never interacted with Fawfulydoo in their lifetime, but their art continued to power my, and many other peoples', passions for this silly niche of Mario games.

It is even sadder to see that they died so young, at only 21. At the time of their death, I had turned 20 the day before. It is tragic to see how they had the vast majority of their adult life stolen away so quickly, when it was clear how much they loved their interests.

Even if Fawfulydoo has departed from this world, they have left traces in their beautiful art. And we must not forget them, for inspiring people far and wide.

Fly high, Fawfulydoo.

Rest in peace.
