Hello, I’m hoping some of you will take time to read this. My best friend, Shay, the wonderful and ever talented artist and illustrator of many years has passed away. I’m hoping to get the page memorialized, and I’m not sure how to go about it or if it’s something that has to be done manually. We have no way to get into the accounts as Shay was a very private person. If anyone has read this far, please let me know. Share their art, leave comments, let them know they were loved. They loved Kirby, Deltarune, Super Mario Bros, and has even contributed to the revitalization of Lethal League and Invader Zim fandoms with their art and cosplays. I welcome any tribute art if there are fellow artists out there. Shay loved jerma and vargskelethor, we’d often play them in the background when doing our own thing but still wanted company. I’ve linked the song that got one of their first ever animations published that blew up overnight (with good reason!) And if you’ve read this far, please know you are loved. Do not hesitate to reach out if you’re struggling mentally.

Okay so… I just found out that @fawfulydoo passed away. I know that this is late and that they died in July, but I just found out and holy fuck, my heart is actually in pieces. I’m actually numb.

I never interacted with them. I guess you could say that I was kind like a silent admirer of their work. But every time I would open up tumblr, I would always see their art since we were in many of the same communities. I loved their work and I am so heartbroken right now. I should’ve never kept quiet. I should’ve said something to them. My condolences to all their friends and family members, I can’t imagine how you must feel.
