AND DURING THE SUMMER THE FAMILY WOULD CHORES FOR “HOUSE POINTS” AND ON THE LAST DAY BEFORE SCHOOL THEY WOULD TALLY UP THE POINTS AND THEY WOULD DECORATE THE HOUSE IN THE WINNERS HOUSE COLORS AND THEY WOULD EAT THAT PERSONS FAVORITE MEAL AND THEY MADE THEIR OWN LITTLE HOUSE CUP THAT THE WINNER GO TO KEEP IN THEIR ROOM. The Weasleys are amazing. Fred and George threw snowballs at Voldemort’s face. Ginny tried to flush his soul down a toilet. Molly Weasley is the most badass individual to ever exist. And don’t even get me started on Ron, the boy who—at the age of 13—stood up to a serial killer to save his friend. Fuck me up, I love the weasleys

Let’s not forget that Charlie was an actual DRAGON TAMER, that Bill was a CURSE BREAKER, Arthur Weasley was hated by the entire ministry of magic because he didn’t discriminate against muggles, and Percy did something that most grown people cannot do—acknowledged his mistakes and apologized.

So how about after-the-war Harry as a stay at home dad who leaves post-it’s all over the house with little things for Ginny like “Al tried to sit on the cat again”, “James discovered how to make toast and somehow almost burnt his eyebrow off”, “Lily said something that sounded like DAD but then she looked me in the eye and said YUCK”, “the cat peed on my invisibility cloak again and I need need washing charms”

It bugged me that Harry got to name all of his children, and on top of that, Ginny took his name. They were all very important to Harry, but what about those who were important for Ginny? (I’ll give her Luna, Harry got Albus) I feel like she got reduced to someone who was merely there to birth the children. Such a independent and bossy woman as she is, I can’t imagine her becoming a woman who just okays everything her husband says. All of her just disappeared, her entire character.
