#i always had scored reading waaay above my grade level and i never really understood the metric for that #i was just told that's how i tested all throughout school #i never felt like i was challenged in reading so i didn't understand why i was deemed above my grade level #this isn't a humblebrag i genuinely got nothing out of this #i never got different work from my classmates and didn't get placed in higher level classes #just got told “you read and comprehend real good” and for what?#just to be told i was wasting my potential and berated for not living up to other peoples' expectations i guess lol
