I just finished reading A Hundred Years From Now and I was compelled to come geek about how much I utterly adore it. I've read plenty of Handers fics but yours so instantly climbed to number one, it was astounding. I adored how your vocabulary and cadence elevated the academic theme. Your interpretation of these characters were so unique but compelling, I was pulled into the universe thoroughly, left gasping and wanting for not just more tension, but more of the world, more of the side characters, more of the plot. Upon looking for your Tumblr, I realized you're also the author of Death and the Hunter - I laughed at the connection and how obvious it was. I should've guessed you had written my other massive Handers fave.
I hope dearly that you'll return to A Hundred Years but of course hold no expectations. I just wanted to express my love personally on here 🩷 Thank you for your beautiful work.
Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time and care to share your incredibly kind thoughts, both here and on AO3. This level of engagement is a genuine treasure, so it’s important that you know how much you’ve improved my day/week/month :)
I’m so humbled that Death and the Hunter is one of your favourites. There’s an inherent longing and sadness between Handers I’ll never tire of. And on the opposite end of the genre spectrum, I’m equally as happy that you’re gripped by the A Hundred Years From Now universe!
@glowing-blue-feathermage and I were talking about your lovely comments and how they’ve inspired us to make progress on the next HYFN chapter, so please do stay tuned. It’s currently in the works and we hope you’ll be excited to read it when it’s ready 💖
