seems like it has been years since i last posted a theme. anyway this is really simple back-to-the-basics kind of theme but it still looks cool (at least i think so). yes the background only covers a small part of the screen and you’ll have to live with it or use another theme. post sizes are 400px and 500px and there are some other options too. remember to add a second blog title on the appearance panel (it’s right below the color selections). use colors wisely and as always, follow the rules please!

I have a serious q for the @rp community, indie and RPGs in particular so I hope you don’t mind me tagging:

what do you have against model faceclaims? alternatively, why won’t you allow model faceclaims into your rpg/why won’t you rp against model faceclaims in your indie blog?

I need a legitimate reason to ban model faceclaims and can’t seem to find it anywhere, this is a honest question of mine and would like a good answer pls

i’d appreciate this reblogged (if you’re asking yourself this question as well) or otherwise just answered to some degree. no judgement i’m just very curious

I honestly ask this myself all the time. I prefer model faceclaims for a variety of reasons, mostly because their faces are very specific to a certain look, so if I’m envisioning the faceclaim for a character I made up in my head, it’s a lot easier to find a fc that fits that rather than an actor. With model FC’s, typecasting also happens a LOT less and they’re mostly blank slates, which I love! Also with gifchats, it should be about your writing more than anything… the faceclaim is just there to, well, lend a face to imagine when the other person writes a response. It really deters me when model fc’s are banned, and I’d rather change a FC to a model faceclaim instead of a typecast fc alternative.
