Thank the UNIverse for family that wants to be useful 🙏🏽 @queenjanine99 has been our part-time assistant for the last 2 months we’ve been working in Detroit. Wether she’s driving us to meetings, grocery shopping for us, helping organize our schedule, or making smoothies in the morning… She’s making moves easier. 🙌🏽 ° Most entrepreneurs have a hard time connecting with family, because they don’t understand the dedication it takes to build for yourself. The path we’ve taken is mostly lonely, because if you aren’t focusing on yours, it won’t grow. 🤷🏽‍♀️ But when it does grow, you’re faced with people who want to love you for clout or finances. They will help you use that up. They WON’T help you build it. 🤷🏿‍♂️ For the little time @queenjanine99 does have (she’s a single mom & has a job) she gives it to us. The trailer gives us a taste of the magic we can expect, but you can be sure that Carmen’s ascension to our time isn’t the only supernatural element in store for us. Siempre Bruja, which also stars Verónica Orózco and Dylan Fuentes, will hit Netflix next year.

Interesting! Another thing learned.

Though I’m not surprised. I need five things in an apology.

A) recognise what you’ve done

B) acknowledge what it did to me

C) fucking apologise (lotsa people think simply expressing a) or b) was enough, it’s not)

D) ask for what you can do to make it up to me (don’t ask for my forgiveness - that’s up to me to decide if and when I forgive (plus it makes an apology sound terribly self-serving))

E) let’s talk about avoiding the same in the future
