I drew Midna in her true form, but she still has the gremlin energy she had as an imp.
Featuring Zelda and (Wolf) Link.
I decided to create something that I wish I had when I first got diagnosed with autism - so here’s my comic for ASDComicTakeover! You can find out more about the project here!

I don’t always reblog these. But some of these tips are super useful! ^_^ and such a cute style.

There are tears in my eyes, this is such an awesome and clever interpretation of a beautiful poem
Yep. Actually crying. This is stunning.
I’ve done fan art of Bridget Guilty Gear
let me introduce you to my favorite pokémon card, trans rights pikachu
well it’s not actually called that, but it might as well be. now you might be thinking “wait isn’t that just birthday pikachu? what does it have to do with being trans?”
so part of the official lore of pokémon cards is that all the pictures in the cards are real pictures of pokémon that somebody took. you might know this from those pokémon snap cards, but there’s another much more obscure piece of pokémon media that’s about this exact topic, the 1999 manga series “how i became a pokémon card”
it was a short series, only 38 chapters, and each one is a short story about what’s going on in the pokémon card. anyway the last of these chapters explains why pikachu is having a party thrown for it, and it’s a pretty interesting story
so this is akari
akari is a trans boy. he just turned 13 and his mom is making him wear the girls uniform to school and use female pronouns because it’s time for him to start acting like a “proper lady”
anyway his best friend akira (yes their names are basically identical) gets a cool pokémon, and akari begs his mom for one, but what he gets is
a pikachu. a cute little pokémon that his mom got him in hopes it would make him act more ladylike. this is clearly upsetting to akari, his mom isn’t taking him seriously and got him a girl pokémon knowing it’s not what he likes, so he gets upset with the pikachu
eventually the pikachu defends him from some wild pokémon and he sees that even if his pokémon doesn’t look like how he wants, it can still be strong, and what really matters is caring about it and being nice to his pokémon
akari feels bad for being mean to his pikachu earlier, so he throws it a party to apologize, and that’s how birthday pikachu is really about a trans pokémon character from all the way back in 1999

This is my final project for a summer English class I’m taking! Once everything’s graded, I’ll finally have an associate degree.
I hope you guys enjoy the comic. It has devoured my week. As always, reblogs are greatly appreciated!
EDIT: I’m really glad this comic is resonating with so many people! From all of you guys’ many comments, it looks like this is something that many of you relate to. It’s prompting more discussion than anything else I’ve ever made, no contest—it has more comments by far than pieces with with tens of thousands more notes, and they’re all very interesting and informative.
So if anybody is feeling alone in this, go ahead and look through the tags and replies! Looks like we’re all in this confusing little boat together.
Today’s Yang’s B-DAY!
Here I wanna share some doodles I did for my comic, thinking of some key moments between Yang and her mother Raven. Enjoy! You can support our art & current ongoing comics in our Patreon! ———-) https://www.patreon.com/cyanorangestudio

"queer spaces are for everyone but cis men! safe spaces include everyone but cis men!"
okay
that will require stealth trans men to out themselves in order to receive help
that will require closeted trans women to out themselves in order to receive help
that will require nonbinary people who don't ""look nonbinary"" because they look too masculine to out themselves in order to receive help
it will also alienate transfems & trans people who were AMAB who haven't realized they're trans yet from spaces that could provide them a safe place to explore gender & sexuality and be introduced to the idea of being trans
trans people are eventually going to get uncomfortable with your hatred for cis men, because people who were AMAB are gonna wonder if you secretly hate them for being "actually men" and trans mascs are gonna wonder if you hate them for being men at all
people attracted to cis men are going to feel uncomfortable when they try and bring up their love for men including cis men or bring their cis boyfriends/partners/friends to your spaces
there are cis queer men & queer men who blur the lines between cis and trans and they have just as much a right to queer spaces as you do
^ intersex men also exist including intersex cis men
there is never going to be a group of people who it is alright to blindly hate just because of circumstances of their birth or identity and every time you try you are going to end up hurting people. embrace compassion and nuance
edit: to be clear, "cis queer men" includes gay cis men, bi cis men, aro & ace cis men, etc. etc. & cis queer men who are verifiably cis are still very much queer
really love imagining a bunch a kids and teens on their pokemon journeys staying the night on the couches and floors in the lobbies of pokemon centers, having long talks about their experiences and feelings sharing funny and scary stories and myths about legendaries and trading items and sharing TMs along with sugary snacks and pokedex chargers all while their pokemon are out of their pokeballs and all bundled up in blankets sleeping soundly next to their trainers while they stare up at the stars shining through the glass ceiling over their heads
#this is what pokemon’s all about
#this is…so nice
I just…really like this idea man. So I drew a thing.
looks can be deceiving
you've been told all your childhood that it's rude to interrupt. and now you have grown up and speak only when there is a pause in the conversation. but suddenly you understand that neurotypicals are all interrupting each other and this is quite normal. but you are already used to not interrupting and waiting for a pause in the conversation and do not understand how to normally maintain a conversation in order to talk, but at the same time not to seem rude
