The Future?

I walk through crumpled cities and burned down towns, dried up oceans and endless deserts surround me, suffocate me. A Great Wall separates me from a wasteland. I run my fingers along the dirty wall, years of handprints have painted it, showing man kinds frustration, anger and sadness. Trying to beat it down till their hands were bloody and broken. You can see the younger versions of the wall, brighter, cleaner. No handprints has beaten down on them and no handprints ever will as freedom and hope aren’t easy to come by anymore. Earlier on our cities were filtered till their was nothing left but a white population. No one has seen behind the wall but their are stories, so many stories. Some say it started with a man, he was the president of the United States, he was strict and he had money but when he spoke people listened and agreed. He spoke their language and connected with people, convincing them what he wanted was also what they wanted. He built the wall to keep bad people out of a great place he had made,but I can’t help asking…what about the bad people in?
