Hi Tumblr. It’s been a while.
It’s been a long time since I last posted on Tumblr, at least over a year if not two. It makes me smile to see that my posts of my cows are still making the rounds and that an educational post or two is also still traveling around.
With college has come a lot of transformation, and my internet usage has vastly declined. I’ve changed my life path a million and one times and I know it will change a million times more.
I don’t make it back home as much as I used to, and as a result I see cows a lot less. But my goal is to continue to take photos when I can and share them with you, for they deserve to be shared! Many of the cows have gone, and new ones have come. Above is me with Ayla and Legen-waitforit-dairy, mother and daughter, at the dairy during Christmas time just a few months ago.
I’ve been fortunate enough to obtain a job upon graduation, and I will continue to be in the agriculture industry in this role. I hope to re-focus on my internet presence and using it as a tool to connect people to their food. As my path has changed, I have found that I want to continue educating myself on food so that I can make that connection and have dreams to complete a culinary arts degree in the future, even if it’s at a community college.
Thank you all for your love and support. I hope I have brought a smile to your faces the same way that seeing your love for my cows has brought a smile to mine!
If you want to see some more recent postings from me, I am a bit more active on Twitter, where you can follow me at @reallifetopanga.
HI COWS ARE NICE BUT THEY HAVE NO MONARCH THANK YOU VERY MUCH
You're absolutely right, high school me was looking for a name along the lines of Dairy Queen and that's what I came up with.

stopping by the side of the road to say hello to some pretty cows is a guranteed way to improve your evening 🐮✨ 17.06.16
Hopefully a happier multiple-birth cow story! These two were born in the middle of the night and they’re two little girls!! They were sired by our old bull (who has sadly passed away), so they will join our breeding herd and live out their lives here :)
Also, you can see the tail-end of Cyclone Debbie in the background.
Our names are calf
And we are new
We don’t yet know
What we should do
Our mum is here
She licks our head

All proceeds will be donated to the Kansas Livestock Association to help ranchers affected by the fires.
As many of you may be aware, large prairie fires have hit Kansas, Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. Thousands of livestock have been lost in this uncontrollable disaster. These shirts are being sold with all funds being donated to the Kansas Livestock Association to help them aid farmers affected by the fires. You can also donate money at this link if you do not want a shirt. Help us take care of the people who take care of us year round.
