“Oh? But I’m curious!”

Without blinking an eye, Minnie makes her way over towards the tossed phone and picks it up, scanning her eyes over the definition of the word still on the screen.

“Figaroooo!”

One minute, the cat had been nestling up in her arms purring and cuddling up to her, and the next, a loud noise comes out of nowhere and startles him, making him run away in a frenzy. Minnie barely had the time to properly react--barely had the time to try and grab the cat who fled from her arms and found herself chasing after her pet as quickly as she could.

It doesn’t take long for her to lose track of the cat, and worry seems to fill her eyes. She brings a few fingers up to her mouth and glances around her surroundings, clearing her throat as it’s clear she’s unsure of where to go. “Oh, where could he have gone...” She mutters to herself in thought, her eyes scanning the area around her.

Well, wasn’t this something.

Minnie had managed to find a small cafe while she was wandering around, trying to find something to keep herself busy while she tried to find the area she was supposed to be staying in. She figured she should go inside and get a tea, or something, and stare out the window at the passing crowds but only found that the inside was as crowded as it could be.

But, nonetheless, the mouse grabs what she needs and scurries around, trying to find a place to sit. The only place she can happen to find is a single chair sitting across a man she hadn’t ever seen in her life. Taking advantage of the moment, Minnie holds her tea close to her and skips her way over to the chair, jumping on it as she places the cup on the table. She gives the stranger a warm smile, before speaking up.

“Hello! I hope you don’t mind me sitting here, I didn’t see any other chair open!”

“Oh no!”

Darn, that blasted stick lying in the middle of the pathway! Doesn’t it know who she is-!? Well, either way - the mouse barely gets much of a chance to properly react as she flails her arms and tries to catch her balance before her face can meet the floor.

It took her a little bit of stumbling and hopping from foot to foot to properly catch her balance, but she was able to do it. Minnie took in a deep breath, her eyes closed as she straightened up her back and put her hands on her hips. She smiled to herself, only to open her eyes and find that she had nearly bumped into a taller man in her struggle to stay on her feet.

“O-Oh- Oh gosh! Sorry about that, guess I better watch my step!” She apologized, a tiny and nervous laugh leaving her lips.

Wow - she didn’t think she’d be finding a garden so soon! Minnie wasn’t exactly the best with finding directions on her own without any guide for help, but she was glad that in this instance, it caused her to stumble across a rather beautiful (and thankfully public) garden. With an astonished look on her face, Minnie found herself wandering past the entrance with her hands in front of her figure. She looked at her surroundings, taking in everything with a wide smile on her face.

It was no secret that flowers were one of her favorite things to look at. Though, she couldn’t help but to wish she was with her special somebody, however... Not letting herself get too down that he wasn’t there with her, Minnie let out a small sigh and parted her lips to speak up. “This is a beautiful garden, isn’t it?” She asks, turning her attention to look over to the stranger she had found herself standing next to for quite a little while.

"You’re- You’re not looking at me, are you?” The mouse fidgets a bit in her stance, but keeps a smile bright on her face. Minnie could tell that she was being stared at for quite a while - and it didn’t mean that she didn’t accept it - no! It just felt...a bit odd to her.

She wasn’t used to getting that much attention. But, nonetheless, Minnie giggles and covers her mouth behind her hand. “I’m gonna take it you’ve never seen a talking mouse before, then!”

Minnie couldn’t help but seem to notice that something about the woman seemed...strange? She couldn’t place her finger on it - but the way she stood there with such a down look on her face made the little mouse fill with worry.

“Is everything okay?” She asks, approaching the stranger slowly, yet with a reassuring smile on her face.

She has to learn when to admit defeat when the time calls for it. After hours of wandering around aimlessly, trying to find exactly where she was supposed to be living in - Minnie had finally decided to call it quits for the time being and sit herself on the nearest bench. With a cheek in her hand, the mouse huffs as she diverts her attention away from what was directly in front of her to stare off towards the side.

“Oh, geez... I really have no idea where to find anything.” Minnie muses to herself quietly, unaware that the bench she had chosen to sit up on was already occupied by someone else.

Upon leaving the large building, lips were pursed as she surveyed the area. Hive City certainly hadn’t changed. It was still the same; tall buildings, bustling city life - she can’t say she’s missed this. But, she wasn’t all that worried about home, she knew that time had stopped there … even if it was a situation she didn’t prefer. Aqua hues glanced around before stopping on one peculiar sight, one that made her frown in confusion before nodding to herself. ❝ … I really shouldn’t be surprised … a talking mouse … ❞

Even from a mile away, Minnie could tell somebody was staring at her. Although she seemed to be surrounded by humanoid figures, it’s not like it was something she wasn’t used to seeing already. Besides, back at home, humans were one of the main stars on television and she even got to have days where she spent time with them! But still - she supposed that the staring wasn’t without reason. They probably weren’t used to it. With a smile, Minnie turns her attention over to the young woman looking over in her direction with a confused expression.

“I hope I’m not startling, or anything...!” She expresses with a tiny laugh.

It’s quick to disperse, however, as her grip just so slightly loosens up when she takes a look at her surroundings again and frowns. “B-But, where are we, exactly?
